"there are 2 very good points and quite a few bad points Location is excellent almost in front of the sea, in a very nice area with restaurants and a long promenade on the sea. The guy at the desk was absolutely kind helpful and friendly. Structure is old fashioned, nice from outside but once you go to the rooms they are old, the heavy curtains smell dust as the carpet, bed was absolutely unconfortable as the mattress was too soft when I sat I thought I would be sitting on the floor. The worse part of it all are the wardrobe ( old, smelling closed ) and the bathroom which was very small with a tiny shower and a very tiny washbasin. It was very difficult to turn the shower off and I had to ask the kind guy at the desk to help me to turn it off . The room did not make me feel at ease at all."

"Excellent stay. Hotel is in a fantastic location especially if you have a sea view. What really made this stay great was the staff. Shasha who checked us in was really nice and super friendly. Also the other receptionist who checked us out was brilliant sorry I didn’t catch catch her name. The only downside was the condition of the hotel overall. Although the room was clean and well presented, the same cannot be said about the hotel in general which is in desperate need of investment and modernisation. Only one lift was working and the other common areas were dated compared to other Travelodge’s. Would definitely stay here again though."

"Despite a few opening teething issues I would recommend this hotel. When we had an issue with our room it was dealt with promptly by Nancy. In the morning the rest of this issue was resolved by Ian Both of them in my opinion have amazing customer service, they were friendly and understanding and is why the hotel got an extra star in this review."

"Quirky industrial design , great free coffee machine but the stair case inside my room was very steep so go careful in the night ! Cool modern look but the bathroom might need a re think as the shower screen allowed water to run across the entire bathroom floor . The property does back onto a nursery and a busy road so it’s busy and not the quietest but not a major problem . Parking is also away from the property and the recommended and surrounding car parks are open which is somthing to consider when booking . Good location as close to town. (note I stayed in room 7 hence the stairs )"

"First time stay , and was very successful the room, bed , shower / bathroom were all on point. We ate in the pub downstairs as well , food was average , fish & chips . Was all slightly over cooked, which was disappointing, but not a surprise. Food is only as good as the person cooking it, so be it frozen , fresh the attention to detail is on the chef/ cook . Didn't take away from the room though or the stay ."

"My daughter and I stayed for just one night, but we look forward to going back. Fantastic location, just a very short walk to the beach. We had a nice stroll after dinner, and found it to be clean and well kept. Staff were all absolutely wonderful and couldn't be more helpful and friendly, which added to the lovely atmosphere. We had a twin room, which was spotlessly clean, a great size and very comfortable ... air conditioning was a very welcome bonus! Breakfast was delicious, full English, and continental, which was fresh and well presented. Really can't praise the place enough!"

"I've stayed here several times over the last few years and always have a good stay. The location is fantastic and I always go for a seafront room, as the view is so lovely. The reason I stay here is mainly for that view and for having such easy access to the beach. I love that I can just cross the road and be on the beach. The rooms are a bit tired-looking, same as every Premier Inn I've ever been to, and would benefit from a deep clean, but on the surface, they are fine and I've not had any major issues. Some of the staff are friendly. The lady who often works in the breakfast room is always so jolly and made me feel very welcome as a solo traveller. The food at breakfast is pretty good. I liked that some mornings they took orders for the cooked food because it meant everything arrived really fresh and hot."

"I was very disappointed with my recent stay. The room was not clean on arrival, which was especially frustrating given that I paid a lot of money for two nights. I raised the issue with reception and specifically asked for someone to clean the room. I even moved the chairs out of the way so the mess could be dealt with properly. However, when I returned later, I found that nothing had been cleaned and the room was still in the same state. I raised the matter again with reception, but their only response was “thank you for bringing it to our attention,” and no action was taken."

"We had a lovely break in Worthing and Brighton and found Sleep Hotel to be the perfect base. Immaculately clean, stylish and comfortable it was a great place to stay. Just a ten minute walk from the station it was massively convenient for nipping out to Brighton. My daughter was desperately impressed with the mezzanine floor in room 7 and declared that the shower was the best she’s ever had. Communication was flawless and the general feel of the place was modern and a tiny bit quirky. We’ll certainly be back."
