First of all, let's talk about the location of this hotel. In the mountains of the Black Forest, it is currently off-season. It is possible that the hotel's facilities are not fully used. The WI-FI signal is sometimes absent. Maybe this is related to the floor of the room he gave me. The WI-FI signal on the second floor is very good, but the WI-FI on the third floor is really bad, almost equivalent to not having it. I changed two rooms. The staff are friendly and breakfast was nice. The location is close to town but bear in mind that it is uphill so not ideal for those with mobility issues. We booked an Apartment King room with balcony and I did not like the room we had as it was at the back / side of the hotel , I think facing the front would have been nicer. What disturbed me about the this back apartment was the main bedroom window looks out onto a small garden area and the heavy curtains don't fully cover the area of the window which means that at night when you have the light on those walking the corridor can see into your room. Thee are sheer curtains but you can still see in. Also this room has only a shower and no bath. I would stay in the hotel again but not that room. The parking in front of the hotel reception was full so we parked on the street which was fine. There is paid parking in the hotel garage for those looking for added security.

Modern hotel with classic, large, cleaned and well-furnished rooms, for a really 4 star level! Near to the town center in a strategic very silent position, for a really comfort stay, in a so expensive little village. Good and large breakfast, very kind staff, quality/price ratio is no doubt higher than other hotel nearby, you can leave your car for free just in front of the hotel.
