I was surprised after reading reviews I wasn't expecting much but yes it did have a bit of a smell in the room but everywhere was bright and cheerful the staff where fantastic and food great.. slightly annoyed at paying £7 for WiFi in the room but it was a fair price for the hotel and taxi to the airport was booked for me the cost was £15 The door to the room had to be slammed and I think this was a problem with alot of them judging by the constant slamming of Doors throughout the night but all in all not as terrible As expected also a nice location not too noisy and actually some grounds to walk in ..don't be put off by reviews if you want cheap and cheerful.

Stayed overnight as we were attending a family wedding down the road. We all arrived earlier than the check-in time but our bags were left there to be delivered to our rooms later on. Beautifully decorated throughout, bar was a lovely space. Outside tables too and plenty of room. Prices not too high either. We had a Classic double and a Deluxe double room...both very clean and the later being bigger than the other. Breakfast next morning was a buffet of cereals, yogurt, breads, pastries and full English. Well recommended...will visit again.

I just HAD to write a review on my stay here. Well... this was my 3rd hotel in 4 nights of travelling. It was also the cheapest one, and the only one I was kind of dreading! Oh how wrong could I have been! From the moment I entered, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Welcoming, kind and professional. I asked if there was any fridge I could use to store some food items I was travelling with and they kindly put these in the staff area for me overnight. Could not do enough to help. The hotel feels more like a modern new hostel than a hotel. The vibe in the communal area felt very much like a classy hostel. It was warm, friendly and welcoming. Free unlimited tea and coffee down there was great. Breakfast was only continental, which I hadn't realised. Lovely pastries, but a shame no hot food was served. Rooms are very small, as I had expected, but functional, Plenty of charging sockets, good hot shower with amenities. As I arrived into the station at terminal 1, and was flying from terminal 1 the next day it is quite a walk with heavy bags. There is no shuttle bus or alternative way to get to terminal 1 from here, only the skylink. This would have been fine, but the moving escalators on the skylink were switched off. When I asked the hotel staff about this, they said they have not been working for months. I don't know why this is, but it would have made moving to/from the hotel a lot easier so it was a shame. Overall a very good and unexpected stay. For the price, I would stay again. Thanks to all the staff for such a pleasant welcome.

Great airport hotel. The room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The included breakfast was good. The hotel isn’t really within walking distance of the airport, an Uber is £10 but the hotel is much cheaper in comparison to the Radisson inside the airport.

Convenient to catch the airplane

I have stayed here a few times for work and will definitely come back. The staff are helpful, the food in the pub is great and i love that there is a Starbucks in the lobby! A friend and I walked from the office to the hotel as it's the closest coffee place we knew of. Comfy bed and nice hot showers. The only downside is that the hotel is in a flight path so planes are constantly coming over the hotel and it's LOUD!

The hotel is not close to the airport location, especially T2. However, guests can book a shuttle bus for 3.3 pounds per person. The driver is on time and the service is good. In addition, the flushing system of the toilet is not very good, and excrement cannot be flushed away in many cases. This is a point deduction. But the overall cleanliness and room size are satisfactory. 

The hotel is situated super near train station and Manchester airport. Shuttle bus service was good and drivers of the shuttle bus were helpful and humor. Hence, try not to walk to the hotel although it seems in a walking distance. Hotel room is spacious and well lit. Hotel's breakfast is good as well. Hence, it's definitely a good choice for short morning flight.
