We stayed in a movie style Gypsy Caravan, had a braai (wood was on the owners!) and received a warm welcome and good bye. What else can you ask for when staying away on a secluded farm, far away from all the modern stress - simply unwind 🥰"

"When we drove through the entrance gates, it was like entering a quiet corner of heaven. Surrounded by lush green lawns, trees everywhere and the Outeniqwa mountains as backdrop. The host lead the way to our chalet, where everything was just perfect (and my wife is not easily pleased!) We enjoyed a sunset swim in the pool, and then light the fire on the stoep with the sun disappearing behind the mountains. When load shedding started, we switched off the inverter and gazed in silence at the heavens above. The next morning my daughter and I took the path down to the Silver river where we experienced the real wilderness up close. Sooo sad that we couldn't stay another night as offered by our host, but we will be back for sure. This was the perfect ending to our week in the Garden Route and definitely the highlight of the trip."

Sea Paradise

"What an amazing experience! I visited Sea Paradise with my family. The guesthouse is easy to find a based very central, we could walk to the close restaurants & village fleamarket. And easily drive to close-by attractions. We have visited the guesthouse previously & the owner's has done some great improvements on the parking space & the reception area is a warm & inviting invorement now! Absolutely love the changes that was made, looks amazing! It was such a pleasure to have my 2 girls enjoying the beach while I can sit @ the guesthouse, enjoying the views & keeping a eye on them while getting some work done same time. They have everything sorted, nice beach chairs, beach towels, even toys for the little ones & a umbrella in our room! The views just takes your breath away. The beach is just a few steps down, with a main swimming beach with a lifegaurd station located on both sides of Sea Paradise. It's also great knowing that they are pet friendly, next time I'm bringing my Yorkie with. She would love to be there. Staff are excellent & gave great referrals for nice restaurants, our room was clean, spacious, comfortable & staff were very helpfull. We had a loveley stay with Sea Paradise, and will most defenitly return for a longer stay!"

"Serendipity is perfectly located, if your goal is to be in the heart of the Wilderness. the property is on the edge of the lagoon and provides incredible views of the Lagoon and the Wilderness. It is a quiet secluded spot just towards the end of Waterside Road on the way to Fairy Knowe Hotel. Our hosts, Rudolf and Lizelle, were absolutely wonderful. they welcomed us like we were old friends, and after showing us around the property, made every effort to make our stay special and very comfortable. We were fortunate enough to secure a booking at their top rated exclusive restaurant and that experience, was a gastronomic delight! To obtain a table for their dinner is difficult due to the quality of the food and the experience, however, if food is your thing, you have to try and secure a booking. Dinner at the restaurant is truly a magical experience, not to mention the incredible wine list which provides wines not only for every taste, but for every course that you will be lucky to be served. We count ourselves so fortunate to be able to have eaten there. On any given day, Breakfast is superb! you are greeted by a sumptuous yoghurt, fruit and granola starter with fresh fruit juice. Full continental breakfast available, and in addition, a hot breakfast made to order can also be had. Once again, all to the highest standard. The rooms are marvelous, so well equipped and designed, they lack for nothing and every detail has been thought of, in order to provide guests with a truly marvelous stay. For those who are a little more adventurous, canoes are available on the premises in case a row on the lagoon is your thing. Beach towels are provided for those who wish to explore the magnificent beaches that are in the area. We had an amazing time and will return. Exceptional accommodation and in our minds, real value for money. Rudolf and Lizelle, thank you for sharing Serendipity with us, we hope to be able to return really soon."
