"The Compass Rose Lodge is an absolute and unexpected gem of a hotel. It clearly is a labor of love, and the attention to detail is evident everywhere. The rooms are spacious and clean, Wifi is fast and reliable, and a light breakfast and coffee is included. Snowbasin is about 10 minutes away, and Powder Mountain about 20. Be sure to ask about the observatory. This is actually my second time staying there, and second time taking the tour. Scott is informative and funny. We had clear skies and got to look at a bunch of celestial objects."
