Polzeath Beach House ★★★★
"I am so pleased I found this hotel. Very reasonably priced and only 20 minutes drive from The Royal Cornwall Show site. The view of the sea from the restaurant/bar is wonderful. The rooms have everything that you need and are cleaned well. Plus a minibar, coffee machine, tea, milk, water and a comfy bed and pillows. Sadly no sea view from the "Cozy King" but that does not matter. We had a lovely welcome and interaction with the staff on reception. Who were really friendly and helpful. I loved the live acoustic singer (Nick Mears) in the bar on Thursday. If it had been a sunny day, he would have been playing out on the front terrace. The hotel also feels safe as you use your key card to also unlock the door to the corridor, as well as your room.  The restaurant was fantastic. Delicious pizzas. You definitely have to book in advance. As it was fully booked the night I stayed.  My only very minor criticism is that the hotel have no signage outside. Having said that it is very easy to find. But  reception is actually at the rear of the building. Strange it is not at the front where you park. You can easily walk through the building though. Definitely would recommend. I can't wait to return. This is now my first choice for a hotel stay in this area of Cornwall! 10/10"

Travelodge Wadebridge ★★★
"The room was clean but the bed/mattress was extremely noisy and creaky, wherever you walked in the room it would creak, we could hear outside, the hallway and above us. Breakfast was shocking, the tv was basic freeview nothing else remote didn’t work great, very outdated. And had to pay to use the WiFi! "

Spring Gardens B&B ★★★★
"When we arrived at Spring gardens we were met by Jenny who was very friendly and showed us to our room . Gave us general information to make our stay comfortable . Our room was lovely . Beautifully decorated , spotlessly clean , with love crisp white bed linen . The en-suite was spotless and the shower was very efficient with plenty of hot water . We had an amazing nights sleep . Bed was very comfortable with very good pillows and duvet . We were visiting Wadebridge to see friends . I will certainly come back to Spring gardens on our next trip . I would give the whole trip 5 stars and thoroughly recommend."
