"This Bastide and Hotel oozes charm. The views of the Dordogne River Valley are to die for and the staff was incredible attentive. Our room had a magnificent view of the river from the 3rd floor. The décor was classic French and the bathroom had been fully updated - awesome rain showerhead. There is no elevator but the property more than compensated. BTW - the chef doesn't have a Michelin star but is recognized as a leading French chef and it shows. Highly recommend this Hotel if you aren't married to large vanilla chains."

"We chose this hotel for our overnight stay. The hotel is generally run-down, but generally clean. The downside is that once you get into the room, there's no table or bedside table to put a phone or keys on. The bathroom, which includes a toilet, has no door. A junction box cover is lying on the floor. I think that for the price of 110 euros per night, we expected slightly better."
