"The room was a bit small and facilities were just average. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right near the pier for easy access to sea activities, and a supermarket is also within walking distance. Free parking was limited. Breakfast offered a good variety. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly. What really stood out was their service even after check-out: when we returned from our sea excursion to use the restroom, the staff recognized us as previous guests and greeted us warmly. When I asked if I could get a coffee to go from the lobby bar, they immediately provided a cup. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent location, especially convenient if you're catching a ferry. The room was very spacious. They also offer indoor parking for a fee of 200 Krona. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. However, the underground parking area had a distinct restaurant smell, which wasn't very pleasant."

"The cleanliness was very poor; I found a small clump of hair on the large pillow on the bed as soon as I checked in. The body lotion cap in the bathroom was broken, the pump dispenser was completely missing, so it was unusable. The shower gel bottle in the shower was almost empty by the first day. For some reason, the kitchen had no electricity, so the range hood and toaster didn't work. Aside from the view from the window, everything else was subpar."

"Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio at Scandic Svolvær just doesn’t add up. We paid €450 for two nights, which is hard to justify considering the overall experience. The rooms are extremely small, there’s no real way to ventilate them properly, and there’s no parking included – despite the high price. The beds looked like they were made by a teenager in a rush – messy and not up to hotel standards at all. On the plus side, the internet was stable, the shower worked well, and the staff was generally friendly. However, one breakfast experience stood out in a negative way: I was clearly waiting for hot water, and a staff member saw me standing there but continued to slowly restock cups without acknowledging me at all. Not rude – just indifferent. Breakfast itself was okay, but nothing special. Sadly, for this price, I expected much more. Comfortable basics, better attention to detail, and at least a proper bed setup. Definitely room for improvement."

"Trevarefabrikken is a cool little hotel with great story. Rooms were large and comfortable. Our family room (the Paint room) had two king sized beds with a large, functional bathroom. There was also a kitchenette which we didn’t use but it was nice to know it was there. The hotel building was neat with a large second floor meeting space. Finally, the hotel breakfast was very good with a good variety of items. Henningsvaer is a nice little town with several restaurants in walking distance. We can definitely recommend this place."

"The location is beautiful, but the apartment is a bit small for five people, although it's equipped with every comfort. The bathroom is closed off, with no windows, and the terrace overlooks the Henningsvaer Canal. Parking isn't right on the doorstep, but it's still convenient. The value for money is quite good."

A fully stocked kitchen we were able to enjoy amazing home cooked meals with breath taking views of the mountain and northern lights. The sauna was a beautiful touch to the experience along side the fire pit where we enjoyed a campfire by the sea. Could not recommend this place more with amazing hosts and even more amazing scenery. A trip of a dream. Thank you for the amazing experience this was one for the books. 🏔️🏔️✨"

"The room was very cozy, feeling just like home! The surrounding area is conveniently located, with easy access to shopping and walks, and the environment is beautiful. There are also hiking trails nearby with three viewpoints, offering both exercise and panoramic city views. Overlooking the combination of mountains, water, and light is a truly wonderful experience!"
