Michael and Kimberly Miller were wonderful hosts and the people on the property as well as the community of Urique was extremely welcoming. "An amazing family owned property! The ambiance is incredible and very rustic. The photos give you a great view of the place.All rooms are at ground level. Rooms were spacious with a wood fired stove for very cold nights. Lots of extra blankets were in the room. Great showers! The morning breakfast was incredible delicious. Note that the hotel operates on a generator, which means electricity ends each night after everyone is in bed. Internet is available only in the great room. Payment in cash is preferred as use of credit cards is affected by access to wifi. They can arrange great tours depending on what you are looking for!"

"Very pretty hotel in nice grounds , with a lovely warm swimming pool. The food for lunch and dinner could be more inspired . The soup at dinner was very watery and spaghetti bolognese was very ordinary would have been nice to have something local, or a choice. Breakfast was limited, no yoghurt.no eggs cooked to order. The location was very central whilst we were there there was a festival in the little square next to the mission church which was attended by the local villagers with a very nice atmosphere. The hotel tour of the vineyard and next door school were very interesting and well worth going on. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and efficient."
