Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nagano-Ueda
"Right across from Ueda Station, so it's super convenient for getting around. The room was really clean and the staff were lovely."
Bessho Onsen Midoriya
"Perfect stay. Amazing modern onsen ryokan. Lovely privat baths ideal for couples or families. Food was also really good and communication with the lovely staff in english (with some help from google translate) easy."
Ueda Tokyu Rei Hotel
"It was very quiet at night and I was able to sleep soundly. It's close to the station and there's a convenience store inside the station, so it's very convenient. I'd like to use it again."
Hotel Route Inn Grand Ueda Ekimae
"It has good public bath facility"
Z hotel
Ueda Plaza Hotel Tenjin
"The location perfect, very close to Ueda station, the breakfast is nice, the service good, they allow you to put your baggage after check out, so you can save coins for locker. 😀,"
Uematsuya
"It was amazing! Starting from meeting at the station and ending with perfect water temperature! I had amazing experience with kaiseki cuisine, which this hotel provide. It was so tasty and so many things, that I was overeating. 😅 And I meet a samurai (mascot) during the dinner. ☺️ The room was exactly the same with picture and really comfortable.👍🏻 It is possible to take a private bath in the hotel. I used this service and can say, that I totally enjoyed it! As you can understand, I am really impressed by this hotel. Highly recommend it!"
Toyoko Inn Ueda Ekimae

Nakamatsuya Ryokan
"Clean, tidy, and with attentive staff. A genuine hot spring. The food was delicious. They even upgraded our room. Great value for money. Highly recommend staying here."
Anzuan Nishida
"The owner is very kind. It's quite tiring to walk from the station. You'll sweat a lot even after soaking in the hot spring, so you'll need to change clothes. They provide a shuttle service, so please ask them. Since it's located in a forest-like area, ants and spiders tend to get into the room. It's a bit disappointing that you can't easily go to the hot spring town."
Kakeyu Onsen Kutsurogi No Yado Kuroiwa Ryokan
"It was very clean and the food was delicious no matter what I received. The bath wasn't big at all, but it was clean and relaxing. I will visit you again next year."
Saito Hotel
"There were plenty of things to experience, like the gym, pool, and sports classes, so a longer stay would be ideal. I couldn't do everything in two nights and three days. I would have liked to have done a one-day tour (to Obuse Town, Mugonkan, etc.) if I had more time."
Nanakusa No Yu
"The dinner on the first night was excellent, but unfortunately, I couldn't eat the sashimi because of the wasabi. The breakfast was also excellent, but for some reason, the breakfast on the second night wasn't as good."
Ryokan Hanaya
"When I checked in, I was surprised to see a woman wearing a Taisho Roman style arrow pattern and hakama. His demeanor is relaxed and truly retro. Impatient people may get irritated. Everything is Japanese retro. The lobby and the hallway that runs through the garden are truly retro. The scenery looked like something you could see in a historical drama. There are 3 baths. The two bathrooms are divided into a men's bath and a women's bath depending on the time of day. The open-air baths are separate for men and women, with separate entrances. Meals are taken in the dining hall, and the pillars and beams of this dining hall are reminiscent of a castle. At breakfast, the woman in yesterday's hakama and kimono was wearing a black dress and white apron. It was a Taisho romantic maid costume. Dinner includes 3 seasonal matsutake mushroom dishes. I had a relaxing time for the first time in a while."
Oedo Onsen Monogatari Shinshu Kakeyu
"Stayed for the first time in about 10 years. It was the end of the year, but I was able to stay at a cheap price because of the points of the reservation site and the room plan with translation. Even if it was a room near the large bath which was a little backward of the building, it was not a room with a special problem except that wi-fi was not available in the room (many in oedo Onsen). And family 4 It was a room with room because it was a tatami mats with people 15. The dishes were lined up with menus equivalent to other Oedo Onsen, but I feel that the ingredients of the fruit and breakfast bowls have been ranked down a little."
