"Clean, Convenient, but Parking is a Hassle. I loved staying here for the comfy rooms and spotless toilets. The location is unbeatable because having a 24 hour MaxValu, 7-Eleven, and Lawson right next door is so handy for late night snacks. However, the hotel parking lot is always full, so I had to use the MaxValu rooftop and walk about 5 minutes to get back. Still, it is a great and convenient spot if you do not mind the short walk if you drive!"

"During my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks. One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel. Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay. In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests."

Additionally, the staff forgot to deliver water to the room for two consecutive days. This kind of mistake is something I have experienced for the first time at an onsen hotel in Japan."

"I selected this hotel through my workplace's employee benefits website, Rilo Club, and made my reservation through trip.com. When I checked in, the hotel told me my reservation wasn't complete. They said that even though trip.com showed a reservation confirmation and receipt, the hotel hadn't credited the required amount. I made the reservation properly, and trip.com offered a Diamond member discount, which gave me a discount of just under ¥3,000, and I received a receipt for ¥10,272 on my card payment. However, the hotel said that my reservation was made through Jalan, and only ¥10,000 had been credited. I had no choice but to pay the additional ¥3,200 at the hotel and check in, but the amount I paid to trip.com was discounted by over ¥10,000, so I ended up losing a few hundred yen. What's more, I couldn't use my employee benefits subsidy, so it was a double whammy. The hotel's bath was very nice, but after making a reservation with peace of mind through the employee benefits program, I had such trouble that I think I'll avoid using them in the future."

"The hotel has many facilities and is mostly occupied by locals, but it is a bit old. The hot spring water is quite hot, and the beer hot spring does have a light hop flavor. It should be used by men and women on a daily basis. The mountain road we drove on was quite steep. ."
