"It is a correct place, in a very quiet neighborhood. The published photos nearly correspond to the place. The good: there is no noise, it is spacious, it has a very well-equipped kitchen, the bed is good, the bathroom is spacious. What we didn't like: we were 3 adults, the person who slept on the sofa bed had very average nights. It was very uncomfortable; the person would slide because it was not horizontal and did not have enough support. The room was never cleaned, even having a carpet, not a wood floor as showed int the photos. They left us a vacuum, but we expected a minimum of cleaning for a week. It was our responsibility, even, to take out the trash. We had a washing machine, but it was dirty, the clothes came out stained. There is a terrace, full of dust, leaves and dirt. There are no functional elevators. Although we were on the lower floor, I can't imagine the discomfort for those who have rooms on higher floors, carrying luggage up the stairs. The pool does not look clean. It's pretty, but it looks like settled water, which doesn't inspire confidence about cleanliness. It is in the middle of plants, which drop leaves and look yellow. The beach is not as close as it seems in the description or as suggested by the hotel name. The bathroom does not have comfortable spaces for use by 3 people. The amenities are the most basic and of very standard quality. We did not expect this quality of accommodation, considering the location and the price paid. There is no safe box and reception availability is limited."

"The email that I never had a response to… I would not recommend. Good morning. My husband and I recently stayed at Bellbry Lodge, from the the 12th to 16th and wanted to share some feed back with you. For the most part our stay was good. Lovely accommodation, nice linens etc - however - and this was the drawcard for us staying with you over other accommodation I had been looking at was the private plunge pool. We were most upset to be unable to use it at all, as it was freezing and then to hear that friends of ours who were staying at a resort at Palm Cove (where we were going to stay) were in fact swimming in their pool at their accommadation. I splurged on Bellbry purely for the private pool and could of stayed elsewhere for considerably less and swam. If your website had said, that the pool was subject to seasonal swimming I would have booked somewhere we could have swam. Appreciated the wine and the nibbles left."

"We stayed 3 nights after intending 2. It's clean, private, coz& pet friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful- above and beyond 👍 5 minutes from the beach. Great food nearby. Highly recommended it. 🥰 "
