"Very convenient location, close to the train station and not far from the city center. The rooms are on the first floor of a building, with easy and convenient access, just by the building itself. Check-in is automatic; there's no reception. The area may not be the best in Treviso, but the city center is just around the corner. The rooms are well-maintained, the bathroom large, warm, and comfortable, and the shower spacious and well-functioning. The mattress and pillows are comfortable, and there's a coffee maker (perhaps better maintained) and biscuits."

"The room I was allocated had a heavy stench of cigarettes. Viviana, the Manager/owner, acknowledged the stench, but either had not checked the room before arrival or chose to leave the stench unaddressed. The room was very dark, with almost no natural light; the windows were opened onto walls. There wasn’t a proper closet for clothes and the bathroom had a low ceiling and no shower. The breakfast room was dark and dingy and the furniture upholstery had holes. Parking was hard to access and in tandem with two other cars making entering and exiting cumbersome and difficult. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience. Even if the stench were set aside, the darkness and gloominess of the property, plus worn out furniture and poor facilties made Maison Matilda uncomfortable, unwelcoming and overpriced. The awkward parking arrangements added to the property’s drawbacks."

"The guesthouse/hotel was empty when I arrived at 4:30 PM. I entered by myself with a password. The cleanliness was acceptable. It's a 10-minute walk from the city center. The credit card guarantee should have been deducted upon check-out, but the hotel deducted the money well in advance. Ctrip handled the situation very well!"
