"Although it's about a 10mins walk from the bus station, I'd totally recommend you to stay here. Breakfast and dinner are provided which tastes amazing, fish is really really fresh, coming from someone who doesn't enjoy eating fish. The rooms are on the 2nd floor, there are toilets on both the first and second level while the sole bathroom and onsen is shared on the first level. The shower closes at 9.30 pm (there's 2 shower heads, shared bathroom, though we showered 1 at a time, there's lockable doors). You'll have to lay your own beds, however, you can ask the owner to help you if you do not know how to, she is really friendly and kind. I had a great time staying here."

"The location is excellent, right next to the JR bus stop, and the Towada bus stop is also at the same location, making transportation very convenient. It's about a kilometer walk to Oirase. The surrounding area is very quiet, the hotel's onsen (hot spring) is very comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast are plentiful, with the yakitori (grilled skewers) being particularly delicious. The service is very attentive. The room facilities are slightly lacking, but sufficient for a comfortable stay."

"The room was new with a great view, and the service was excellent. Since I'm vegetarian, the hotel specially arranged a full vegetarian dinner for me that day. The breakfast buffet was also very rich. The hot spring felt ancient, but it was only indoors. My only complaint is that the lounge closed too early in the evening, so after a late hot spring soak, I had to go straight back to my room. It's a convenient ten-minute walk to Tsutanuma, perfect for catching the sunrise and morning glow."

"This hotel is conveniently located for bus transfers from Misawa Station, and the surrounding area is full of unique izakayas (Japanese pubs) with an Edo-era feel. The breakfast set meals are healthy, and the evening kaiseki cuisine is plentiful! Unfortunately, an earthquake struck, but the Japanese staff at the hotel weren't shocked; it was the first time in my life I'd experienced an earthquake where the room shook!"
