"Basic room. Small, very simple. The hotel gave a neat impression. The location was terrible, right next to the train station. About every 10 minutes a train. We had a room right on the side of the station, so not so pleasant. I also would not recommend walking around the area late at night. So, to stay one night and then travel on, yes. To spend several nights here, no."

"You probably don't know this, but an electronic music festival takes place here at the end of May. So you’ll be bothered by construction noise before and after the festival (and by music late into the night if you stay during the festival). I wasn’t aware of this, and the hotel called me less than 48 hours before my reservation. It was a birthday gift, so I couldn’t cancel. I had to negotiate with the hotel to make the best of our stay despite this inconvenience. We had a good time, but it was quite complicated and stressful having to deal with this at the last minute: if I’d known, I would have booked somewhere else. Otherwise, the place is nice and comfortable – a good getaway not far from Paris. "
