"I visited this inn just because I wanted to enjoy cherry blossom viewing in an open-air bath. It is located along the Shogawa River near Gokayama, and I was greeted by cherry blossoms in full bloom in front of the entrance. The clear stream can be seen from the window of the room, but it is a little disappointing that the stone bank of the dam is in view. As soon as I checked in, I took a bath while admiring the cherry blossoms in full bloom. In addition to the "Hana-no-yu" and "Yume-no-yu" (alternate for men and women) set in the garden, where you can feel one with nature, there is also a private family bath. After the bath, they serve matcha tea and sweets, which I enjoyed in a corner of the garden with cherry blossoms in bloom. As the name "Mido-zashiki" suggests, the dinner was high-quality and elaborate. The sashimi was fresh seafood caught in Toyama Bay, the shrimp sashimi with sea urchin was quite delicious, and the koshihikari rice cooked in a stove was also good. The only disappointment was that the dining room was empty, and a group of guests made a seat right next to me, which made it a little noisy and made it difficult to concentrate on the meal. It may be easy to serve the food, but I wish they would give it a little more thought."

"I arrived in Tonami on a solo motorcycle trip. I called ahead to check on parking space and was told there was a covered space available. When I arrived at the hotel that day, the front desk staff checked on me, greeted me at the entrance, and guided me to the parking space. After checking in, I was very satisfied with the extremely courteous service. I was staying here to watch an away game of the B.League basketball league, and I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the interchange, ample parking space, and clean and comfortable room."

"This is our first ryokan. Overall, the experience is excellent!!! A truly wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is fresh seafood, rice, and local soups. It's not that it's not delicious. It is. There's plenty of it, but after the third meal like this, you'll be craving something with pasta. :)))) The room was cleaned every day. There's a shuttle to the train station. The view from the window is beautiful. Overall, it's a peaceful place for relaxing your body and soul!!! Below are photos of the hotel and surrounding areas."

"We had dinner with our family at the neighboring sweetfish restaurant "Ayu no Sho" and then stayed overnight. It has the feel of a traditional Japanese inn, but the lobby is spacious and we were able to relax in the lounge. The furniture and furnishings throughout the hotel are luxurious, but above all, it was well-cleaned and not a speck of dust was on the ground. We had a sudden change in the number of guests staying, and we were grateful that they were so accommodating. The Japanese breakfast was also luxurious and delicious."
