"The hotel is okay, but it lacks any local character; it's just an ordinary resort hotel, more suitable for Portuguese families with children. The hotel is quite "economical"—no complimentary water, and coffee in the room is chargeable… If you're a foreigner specifically visiting Tomar, I highly recommend choosing other local hotels near the castle, such as the monastery or the other hotel pictured. The last two pictures are of other recommended hotels, not this resort hotel."

We loved the themed aspect of our room and the window and view of the river was beautiful. The hotel staff were lovely and looked after our luggage outside of the check in / checkout times. Tomar is a brilliant riverside town and the visit to the Castle and Church of Christ to see the Knights Templar headquarters has been the highlight of our Portuguese tour."

"Great location in Tomar. Very friendly and welcoming people at reception. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although the spa is small it's an excellent facility and it's location overlooking the river is great. The historic sites of Tomar are easily walkable from the hotel and there's a good selection of cafes and restaurants nearby."
