Torre Sangiovanni Albergo e Ristorante da Rosary ★★★

📍 Vocabolo Castello, 28, Collevalenza

"A very enjoyable stay ~ after we got there! Our flight into Rome was over an hour late due to unavoidable problems and consequently our rental car by Discover Cars was no longer available so we had to rent on the spot costing us two and a half times what was planned. That was a bad start but once on the road we put in the address on our GPS and about an hour and a half got off at the Todi exit. Somehow we ended up driving (following our GPS) all over the area without any luck. We finally found a 'saint' that called the hotel and they arranged to meet us just outside of Todi promising to send someone to guide us to the property. We finally arrived, got settled, had a wonderful meal and were able to get to sleep. The evening meal was very good but somewhat limited for a vegetarian. Breakfast had an excellent variety of foods. We were very thankful for the staffs willingness to come and 'find' us or we'd never found the hotel. We had expected it to be a little closer to the town of Todi but it all worked out. The property certainly has all the 'old world' charm, and all the staff were most helpful. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The drive to Todi was about 10 minutes and having your own transportation would be necessary to stay here. A lovely place and I'd definitely stay again."

Relais Todini - Residenza d'Epoca - Historic House

Relais Todini - Residenza d'Epoca - Historic House ★★★★★

📍 Vocabolo Cervara, Collevalenza, Todi

"Situated on a large estate that includes beautiful accommodation, a wildlife park and vineyards with a winery. Amazing views of Todi from the beautifully appointed hotel. Rooms are classically furnished. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Quality restaurant, with great food and wine, overlooks pool and gardens with Todi in the distance. Can recommend both the venison and the rabbit."

Hotel Fonte Cesia
8.4 (25 reviews)

Hotel Fonte Cesia ★★★★

📍 Via Lorenzo Leoni, 3, Todi

"We stayed one night at this hotel with a tour group. It is located in the heart of Todi and it was an easy walk to see everything in this charming town. The hotel itself has an old world charm and great views of the countryside. Our room was somewhat run down, however, and had a tiny, hard to use shower. The mattress was uncomfortable and the room dark. The views from our 2 large windows were fantastic with beautiful sunsets/sunrises. We must have had an "average room" because many in our group raved about their awesome rooms, while others said theirs were small and dark. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, bacon, eggs, etc. This hotel just needs some updating and deep cleaning of some of the bed skirts, etc. but it is a great location and quite charming."

Villa Luisa

Villa Luisa ★★★

📍 Via Angelo Cortesi, 147, Todi

"We had a Balcony room at Villa Luisa. They have a nice breakfast. Very kind staff. Bathroom had a bidet as well as a toilet, sink and corner shower. The beds are not comfortable. Very hard and not much to them. Transportation into town was not easy. If you have your own transportation, there is parking available."

Castello Izzalini Todi Resort ★★★

📍 Vocabolo Castello 16A, Frazione Izzalini, Todi

"Everthing was good, silent area, peaceful enviroment. Good decoration and utilities. Only sofa bed was not comfortable for sleeping. Definitly you need car because there are many nice places to visit. "

Borgo Petroro

Borgo Petroro ★★★

📍 Vocabolo Castello di Petroro, 9, Todi

"We spent the weekend with family and friends at Borgo Petroro with a party on Saturday both at lunchtime and dinner for 70+ people and children, both at the pool at lunchtime and then in the gently lit courtyard in the evening. Andrea and all his staff went out of their way to look after us all and make sure the party was a success. We are all delighted with the whole weekend and all the many happy memories."

Hotel Fonte Cesia ★★★★
"There is a lot I want to say about Hotel Fonte Cesia: firstly, its location is superb as it is literally in the Centro Storico of Todi (historic town in Umbria). I would also like to say that the staff were all polite, always helpful and professional. Our room faced the very busy Corso Cavour which then joins and becomes Via Roma. Generally speaking, it was not too disruptive, BUT when outside guests and also people sitting at the nearby bar (near the actual Fonte Cesia fountain), we were forced to shut the window-door, this meant we also needed to keep the air conditioning (aria condizionata) on for prolonged periods of time if we were in the room, not just because it was terribly hot outside (nearly 38 C), but because the room being quite small needed some air anyway. This leads me to talk about the AC system which, in my humble opinion, would need a good modernisation. It was a tad too noisy for our taste. The bathroom was lovely and full of light, BUT the shower cubicle far too small... even for me, and I am rather petite in stature. Breakfast was lovely but the hotel does not include in the stay so needs to be paid separately as well as the city tax. As a 4-star hotel, I would have hoped that something like a glass of Prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which I had asked for before arriving at the hotel, would have been complimentary, but instead a whole bottle of it had been opened so, apart from asking for it to be kept in the hotel fridge so we would consume it during the next two days, I then realised it had also been included in the final bill. I understand that the hotel wants to stay unique and independent, which is great, BUT sometimes it is nice to offer a little surprise to first-time guests like we were. ;-) I do want to add though that two members of the staff at the hotel, excelled themselves during out stay: "breakfast" Monia and Tiziana. Thank you both for your care and patience!"

Castello Izzalini Todi Resort ★★★
"Good location with a car, to explore from. Building: cool old renovated building with spacious rooms..Good views and good restaurants within a few feet. BUT, no amenities on site. Need to use this as a home base to reach locations in Umbria, but wouldn’t want to come to stay on property all day."

Borgo Petroro ★★★
"We have stayed before in this hotel. The setting is very nice with a view on Todi. The reception was very good. We had a very nice standard room. The room was comfortable and had all the things we needed. The buffet breakfast was very basic with little selections. The service was very slow. We did not had dinner in the hotel this time as there were not many guests."

Residenza d'Epoca San Lorenzo Tre ★★★
"In a building 500 years old. down a narrow pedestrian street off the main square so very quiet. Quaint, old-fashioned maybe, but a very pleasurable place to stay. Good size rooms with all mod cons and great views across the Tuscan country side. Our hostess Chiara is a mine of information on the local area, including a great recommendation for dinner. Nice breakfast in the pleasant large dining area."

Agriturismo Casale Dei Frontini ★★★
"Wonderful agriturismo. Location and setting are perfect, swimming-pool very well kept and the views are spectacular. Great hospitality, a very friendly atmosphere and the kitchen is outstanding! The room and beds are excellent. The only drawback was a little problem with a slight sewer smell in the bedroom which we reported before leaving so the problem could be solved before new guests would arrive. Too bad the proprietor took this somewhat negative. Otherwise a fantastic stay in a beautiful agriturismo."
