"A very enjoyable stay ~ after we got there! Our flight into Rome was over an hour late due to unavoidable problems and consequently our rental car by Discover Cars was no longer available so we had to rent on the spot costing us two and a half times what was planned. That was a bad start but once on the road we put in the address on our GPS and about an hour and a half got off at the Todi exit. Somehow we ended up driving (following our GPS) all over the area without any luck. We finally found a 'saint' that called the hotel and they arranged to meet us just outside of Todi promising to send someone to guide us to the property. We finally arrived, got settled, had a wonderful meal and were able to get to sleep. The evening meal was very good but somewhat limited for a vegetarian. Breakfast had an excellent variety of foods. We were very thankful for the staffs willingness to come and 'find' us or we'd never found the hotel. We had expected it to be a little closer to the town of Todi but it all worked out. The property certainly has all the 'old world' charm, and all the staff were most helpful. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The drive to Todi was about 10 minutes and having your own transportation would be necessary to stay here. A lovely place and I'd definitely stay again."

"Situated on a large estate that includes beautiful accommodation, a wildlife park and vineyards with a winery. Amazing views of Todi from the beautifully appointed hotel. Rooms are classically furnished. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Quality restaurant, with great food and wine, overlooks pool and gardens with Todi in the distance. Can recommend both the venison and the rabbit."

"We stayed one night at this hotel with a tour group. It is located in the heart of Todi and it was an easy walk to see everything in this charming town. The hotel itself has an old world charm and great views of the countryside. Our room was somewhat run down, however, and had a tiny, hard to use shower. The mattress was uncomfortable and the room dark. The views from our 2 large windows were fantastic with beautiful sunsets/sunrises. We must have had an "average room" because many in our group raved about their awesome rooms, while others said theirs were small and dark. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, bacon, eggs, etc. This hotel just needs some updating and deep cleaning of some of the bed skirts, etc. but it is a great location and quite charming."

"Lovely hotel for a few days. Staff were great, and Breakfast was excellent . Great location, just outside the walls of Todi. Rooms were clean, and Towels changed every day. It was very warm and humid nights. did not know how to switch on the aircon should gave asked at reception never mind. "

Villa Luisa ★★★

"We had a Balcony room at Villa Luisa. They have a nice breakfast. Very kind staff. Bathroom had a bidet as well as a toilet, sink and corner shower. The beds are not comfortable. Very hard and not much to them. Transportation into town was not easy. If you have your own transportation, there is parking available."

"Everthing was good, silent area, peaceful enviroment. Good decoration and utilities. Only sofa bed was not comfortable for sleeping. Definitly you need car because there are many nice places to visit. "

Borgo Petroro ★★★

"We spent the weekend with family and friends at Borgo Petroro with a party on Saturday both at lunchtime and dinner for 70+ people and children, both at the pool at lunchtime and then in the gently lit courtyard in the evening. Andrea and all his staff went out of their way to look after us all and make sure the party was a success. We are all delighted with the whole weekend and all the many happy memories."
