"Great family holiday with fantastic entertainment We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roda Beach Resort & Spa and would definitely consider returning next year. The hotel is quite a long way from Corfu Airport, and the transfer takes nearly two hours by bus, which is something to bear in mind when booking. However, once you arrive, the location is lovely. The sea is just a two-minute walk from the hotel, which was a huge bonus for me. I’m not really a pool person, so I loved being able to simply nip down to the sea whenever I fancied a swim. The hotel has a main restaurant as well as three themed à la carte restaurants. We found the lunch and dinner choices to be good, with plenty of variety. Breakfast was also good, although I think it could be improved by offering a wider choice of yoghurt, granola and fresh fruit salad. The rooms are cleaned **every day**, and bottled water is replenished regularly, which was much appreciated. On some days, I chose to opt out of room cleaning and towel changes as a small contribution towards reducing water and energy consumption and helping the environment. I liked having the option to make that choice. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the **entertainment**. The entertainment team were fantastic and there was always something going on. A special mention has to go to **Rado, the entertainment manager**, who is brilliant. He hosts music quizzes every evening at 8pm and also gets involved in the evening entertainment alongside the rest of the team. His energy really makes a difference to the atmosphere. I’d also like to mention **Lena**, who was lovely and encouraged me to take part in the daily activities. It was nice to be made to feel welcome and included, even when I wouldn’t normally be the type of person to join in. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. There are a few small things that could be improved, particularly at breakfast, but the location, food, clean rooms, entertainment and friendly team made it a very enjoyable stay. **We had a great time and might well be back next year!**"

"This boutique hotel is very well presented. You wouldn't think it was 3*. Probably only the fact the reception isn't open 24hrs which is fine. Some of the photos on here are out of date as think it was refurbished in 2023. The pool area has lots of different seating and loungers, a bar and was never that busy or loud. It did look very high end. Rooms are a generous size. Some have private hot tubs. Breakfast had plenty of choices including healthy fruits, yoghurt, cereal. A short walk to the restaurants and shops, a bit further to the pebbly nearby beach. Useful to have a car as a hour from the airport and you can then get to other beaches. Only minor room for improvement areas are pool towels weren't always available. They were on demand rather than provided on check in then swapped. Nespresso coffee pods in the room had a fee. Toiletries could have been replenished more regularly. I would recommend this hotel. Ideal for couples."

"My partner and I have just returned from a week’s stay at Hotel Unda. I was trying to think of a single word to describe the experience for this review… words like “exemplary”, “sensational” or “unrivalled” may sound cliched; they are not even close in describing this new hotel on the northern coast of Corfu. I could not recommend this hotel more highly. The aesthetics and design of this hotel are beautiful. The staff are incredibly professional - if very busy at times… which can delay service just for a fleeting moment… but please remember you’re in Corfu, on holiday at the most fabulous hotel; deadlines and other priorities should be a distant memory. To single out specific individuals on the team would be a disservice to those not mentioned as It’s clear they are all so wedded to the success of this new establishment. So what would I change or suggest as very discerning improvements…? I want this new hotel to be a success! The hotel staff deserve this at the very least… they are all so lovely. Easier access to the sea - I love swimming in the ocean and do it all year round. The sea water just metres from the hotel is simply stunning. Bring water shoes to allow easier walking across the pebbles. Once in, the sand is fabulous. The hotel organises some wonderful live music events. They are very cool. As a thought I’d love to see a huge bbq event for guests every week / month… just to mix up the menu slightly."

"The hotel is right on the beach front, and the beach loungers are sought after. Views to die for and waves to jump through. It's great to see everybody smile when negotiating the waves. Rooms are a little on the small side but generally adequate and well cleaned. It was lovely receiving a little gift from the cleaner, Valentine. We did have an issue with our shower door but Irene, head of housekeeping had it fixed, and threw in a few treats as an apology. Such a lovely lady and looked after us well. Food in the restaurant was OK, if not a bit repetitive by the end of the week. Staff there were all very friendly and hard working. Bar staff likewise were always helpful and smiling. Big shout out to Ela and Claudia, behind the bar. Overall a very pleasant week spent at Wyndham Archaravi corfu. Yamas Kevin and Lisa"

"We spent a week here and I don't think we'll ever go back. The hotel is beautiful, especially the buildings at the bottom of the hill, but a bit unkempt. It's clean, but with mold and old painted doors, windows and walls. Would urgently need renovation. It was full of mosquitoes and wasps, you couldn't eat on the terrace because of them. Regarding the food (we had half board), that was the biggest disappointment. The breakfast was poor, the ham and salami looked like they had been sitting on the plate for two weeks, low-quality cheese and eggs, when you could still find them, unfried. Yogurt was missing and apple and orange juice were made from chemicals. Dinner was even worse. I could hardly eat anything, even if there were five or six dishes. All the meat was tasteless, without salt and pepper. The pork was either very, very tough or just gristle and fat. The side dishes were just as unappetizing as the rest. Nice, kind and friendly staff, except for the lady who was the head waiter at dinner. In conclusion, I'm sorry I paid so much money. It's not a four-star hotel at all, maybe a three-star one, with indulgence."

"We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Costa Botanica as a family of two adults and a two-year-old. We were given a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The resort is really beautiful with lots of greenery and attention to detail. The pools are lovely- plenty of choice and the waterpark is brilliant with a lovely lazy river. There are lifeguards at every pool and also at the beach. We never had any issues finding sunbeds but I imagine it may be different during summer holidays. There is plenty for kids to do and our toddler had the time of her life. The staff are lovely and very helpful, the beach is gorgeous and the beach bar is great too. The main square is a pleasant place to chill in the evenings with table service for drinks and a general nice vibe. The food was good, no complaints and lots of choice. There was always lots of fresh fruit and salad, you can build your own or choose pre-prepared ones which were all delicious and there are plenty of meat and seafood options, I had some delicious grilled prawns with the shells on, mussels, fried anchovies etc. There are also plenty of options for more fussy eaters- pizza, chips, spaghetti Bolognese, chicken goujons etc. There are two snack bars and creperies/ ice cream stations which are great if you want lunch on the go or while you're at the pool and don't want to have to go back to your room, get dressed and go to the buffet restaurant. The snack bars provide things like sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, gyros, salads, chicken nuggets, chips, pizza etc and there are also self serve beer stations. The cocktails are great and there are lots of options. We also did the wine tasting with Georgia which was fantastic and Georgia was very accommodating and provided drinks and snacks for our daughter while we sampled the wines. The a la carte restaurants were very nice (we went to all but the fine dining as they do not allow children). Mosquitoes were not as bad as expected having read previous reviews although we did always use repellant and I was bitten maybe 6 or 7 times. Considering I am usually eaten alive, this was a positive for me. Our toddler was not bitten at all and I only saw a couple of wasps which were not a nuisance. At one point, we lost power in our room and when we reported it, they sent someone to fix it straight away. The only minor negatives were the drinks service which was very slow at times. We were not bothered about having much to drink but if I had been on a couples or group holiday we may have been slightly more annoyed. The buffet restaurant was sometimes understaffed with tables lacking cutlery and glasses and at one point there was no high chair available for our toddler so we had to leave and go back later. We also requested a baby bath as we only had a shower in our room and it took two days and several reminders for it to be delivered to our room (although they were very apologetic). "The room was quite clean. We stayed in a duplex which can accommodate 4 people. The shower water pressure was great. The hotel has a nice view. There are many beach chairs, and the charge is 6 euros for an umbrella and two chairs (unlimited time). There are two restaurants on the beach, both of which tasted very good. There are three swimming pools and beautiful pool lights at night. The breakfast is quite rich, of course it is different from those five-star hotels in Yalong Bay, Sanya, but the desserts are delicious!"
