"The place was a maxing.The room I stayed at is very clean. I really like the sauna and the pool. The receptionist was very nice,polite, and helpful."

"Such a lovely country pub with a great cosy feel. We arranged the finger buffet for a small leaving party for work and the food was delicious and the service was great. They were so accommodating given short notice for some changes. Will definitely go back."

"Only a one night stay, but very enjoyable. Had a ground floor room in what I would call an annex, but it was a very nice room. Large and spacious, lovely walk in shower. Comfortable large bed. Had evening meal which was very good and breakfast the next day. Staff friendly and the service was good."

"Had Sunday lunch here for Father’s Day as it was a convenient midway point for all 3 families. I am afraid that that is all that can be said in its favour. Sunday roast menu- but run out of chicken (despite the fact that we arrived at the start of service) . When the food arrived - warm rather than hot- I asked why no Yorkshire puddings - run out of those as well. No apologies offered. I also realised later no pigs in blankets either - apparently they had had those but had forgotten to put them on the plate.Again no apologies. Very impersonal service, all food had to be ordered on the App. Also beware having to pay for car parking( although can get it reimbursed if pay by cash and have it offset when pay at the bar for drinks- but that meant 2 out of 3 of our group did not get reimbursed). We were told we only had a 2 hour slot at the table so moved outside at that point. An hour later still no one at our former table or indeed at a number of the other ‘ reserved tables’. Probably the most disappointing meal and environment for a meal out for many years. Look elsewhere- there have got to be better pub meals in the area than this!"
