"From the very first day, we had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful family hotel. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable! "40 € for towels! And not a deposition. Make sure to catch the cleaning staff and get toilet paper, they won’t replenish it. The shower drain is misdesigned so the water will get sllnover the floors. The restaurant is all fish so not too kid friendly. The breakfast is mostly canned goods and purchased bread, we were not impressed. The staff treats the cleaning staff that are from abroad badly. The sinbedsa are free if you order and the beach is great. The pool is small but kid friendly. Make sure you get a nice deal, otherwise look for another stay."

"room was lovely and the location was 10/10. live music every weekend was a highlight of our holiday . however one let down was the attitude and service or lack there of provided by a blonde barman. he was extremely inappropriate, making crude comments towards me and my 12 year old daughter. i wont repeat the comments he made, but if you are looking to stay here beware!! especially if you have young children."

"Stunning hotel! Quirky, spotlessly clean and quiet. You hardly see any other guests and it is so beautiful and peaceful here. The hotel is made by its staff though! I have never known such wonderful helpful friendly staff in a hotel before! They are an absolute credit to the management. A special shout out to Joanna at Dunes restaurant. She is an absolute star and is kind, helpful, knowledgeable and goes out of her way to make us feel like special guests. Top tip: if you struggle with being bitten, bring insect repellent with you. Not many wasps but lots of gnats!"

"The location offers stunning views and, access to a really lovely beach. All staff are friendly and happy to help. They offer two pools, and these don't get that busy as most people use the beach, one of the things I think needs changing is the pool times they offer a lifeguard during the day but this restricts the pool hours, so it's only only 10-18:30, but everyday at closing time the pools where both being used. The food was nice but I think needed more choices, as some nights if you didn't like fish or vegetables, you had chips and pasta, and salad. Overall I would recommend this hotel, mainly for the chilled vibes and the views"

"This hotel was the best i have ever been with my family. It is very quiet here and the beach is very clean and beautiful. The closest city is cca 2 km by car. If you need car, you can rent one or ask on the reception and reserve a ride by hotel car. The drivers are very nice and the whole staff is very skilful. Staff is very friendly and polite and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone."

"My husband and I have spent a very relaxing and peaceful week at this lovely hotel. It is a chilled place with nothing really in the immediate area, but we loved it. I am vegetarian and there was always something nice to choose from. The food at the Meltemi restaurant was wonderful, we can recommend the Greek night on Friday. The staff are lovely and our Tui rep Leigh was fabulous. The grounds and rooms are spotless. We had a deluxe sea view room which was beautiful and we loved watching the House martens fledge from the balcony. The transfer is very well organised, but it made for a long day. If you are looking to switch off and relax in a beautiful place Thassos and the Blue Dreams Hotel are perfect."

"We had such a wonderful experience here! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home. The live music event was truly special, especially hearing songs from our own language, it created such a warm atmosphere. We also tried their traditional drink for the first time and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, only a short walking distance to the sea. Everything was simply excellent. A big thank you to Despina and all the staff who took great care of us. The waffle offered during the live music night was so delicious as well! "We stayed at this hotel end of Aug, staff were lovely and helpful the guy who manages the restaurant never stops he deserves a medal. Hotel is about 1yr old all very modern, the rooms are very nicely done there is a fancy wall on the ceiling and behind the bed ( didn’t pass the dust test ) the bed was quite comfortable but the pillows were like sleeping on a brick , the rooms are small but it’s enough they don’t have any drawers in the room so no where to keep underwear/ swimwear they have a fridge and coffee machine, the coffee wasn’t always replenished we just had to keep asking for more .all rooms face the sea we had a beautiful view and listening to the sea in the evening is the best sound the balcony was lovely to sit on and quite big it’s the best sea view I have ever had . Breakfast at the hotel was disappointing for me as they didn’t have any nuts/ seeds or croissants, the bread was nice and fresh , they have 3 cereals to choose from cornflake/ choc cereal and oats if you wanted bacon u just had to ask and they made it fresh for you , the beans were cold not sure if they were meant to be cold or not they made coffee/tea / fresh orange to order , there is enough to choose from and to keep you going till lunch . The Sunbeds are free to use on the beach very comfortable and thick but you were asked not to bring your own food or drinks on the beach , felt sorry for the young girl waiting for drink/ food order on the beach as uniform was long pants she was obviously too hot and she was so lovely. There is a 10min walk into town plenty of restaurants to choose from . During the day if you have food especially meat the wasps just swarm around you no wasps in the evening . If you want to go to thassos this is a nice hotel in a perfect setting."

"We caught the last Tui flight out of Kavala after spending two weeks at Makryammos bungalows. The check in was ok, not much information given, no complementary drinks. There were one of two waiters helpful. We expected daily bottled water in our room, as there wasn't an on sight shop, we were told they didn't have time to build it this year! On our first trip into Thassos town, by taxi we bought 6 litres of bottled water for €2-50. We were in room 204, which was very nice, clean and tidy. The catering wasn't 5 star, instead of eggs fried to order at breakfast they batch cooked them and left them on a tray to congeal, although one day I actually had an egg freshly fried. The breakfast and dinner were not up to the star rating. We didn't venture very far, although we did go into Thassos town 3 times. The first by taxi, both ways,. Then we got the golf cart up to the gate and walked on the side of the road, which took us 20-25 minutes, we did however get a taxi back! We didn't see any rubbish on the beach, thought it was a good idea to have same dinners every day. I had no problem following the shade from the parasol. I wasn't keen on dogs being allowed on the beach and I don't think they should have been allowed where people were eating, even if it was in the covered area outside."

"Room and all facilities at the hotel were very clean and well maintained. Pool area is perfect, very comfortable sun loungers with umbrellas and lots of other seating areas around the poolside. All of the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, great advice about beaches to visit on the island, places to eat and assisted us with anything we needed during the stay. Our room was spacious with a large balcony with everything we needed, hairdryer, fridge, kettle and flat screen TV! Breakfast was 11/10, very fresh and tasty every morning including freshly squeezed orange juice and pastries. The location is great 5 minute walk from the ferry and 10 minute walk to the old town where there are plenty of markets, restaurants and bars and close to many beaches. Would definitely stay again and recommend to people visiting Thasos"

"PERFECT! A wonderful place with fantastic people! This intimate hotel for adults is located in a quiet area, right on the beach (50 steps across the street). It's clean, tidy, and charming. Family-run – WONDERFUL people! You feel like you're literally on vacation with your favorite family. Breakfast is a generous and delicious Swedish buffet. Dinner is unusual, offering refined taste and the chance to experience top-notch regional dishes (in the morning, you choose your dinner at a specific time, consisting of appetizers, main course, and, of course, dessert). There's a poolside bar with perfectly prepared drinks. The town is small and intimate, 500 meters from the port, where you can catch a ferry to Kavalli (6 euros per person). The beach is large, not crowded, and features pebbles and sand, with a gentle slope. If you're looking for a quiet, intimate Greek adventure, I 100% recommend it. Thank you for the best service in Greece so far and a wonderful holiday with you - kisses from Poland"

"I had a VERY BAD experience in May 2024 at Thassos Hotel Grand Beach, the room I was given was HORRIBLE, I am attaching a photo with "the view". Too bad the noise can't be reproduced also... The hotel is in very POOR conditions, the room and everywhere inside was smelling like CAT PISS, and the lady from the reception had a terrible attitude. We decided to leave to another hotel, even if they didn't want to refund any of the money we paid - not even the city tax... So imagine the DISSAPPOINTMENT we had if we just dropped everything we paid and moved to another place in the first day. RUN AWAY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!! There are so many other nicer hotels around, with better service."

"I really liked this hotel. wholeheartedly I believe it is the people that make out a place and this is exactly the case. Very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate every single request. I was charmed by the island as well, but staying here has it perks. You can serve drinks while looking at the sunset and the water in front of the hotel. I enjoyed the cocktails and the sandwiches here. One night we had a trumpet guy playing here. It was so elegant and pleasant. However, if you are looking for the greek live music, you can walk to the restaurants nearby. Breakfast at Angelica Hotel came with the room and it was simple, yet delicious. Eggs, yoghurt, charcuterie and cheeses, freshly cut fruits, cereals and a wide range of local pastries. Those pastries are divine. My husband preferred the coffee from the bar instead of the one from the breakfast. But i guess it is a matter of taste. I love the cappuccino made by the machine. Regarding the room . It is big with an amazing balcony. We are staying on the 1st floor facing the water. The room has windows blinds and outside another set of blinders so it is perfect for keeping the heat out. You have toiletries and a fridge, but you do not have an iron or kettle in the room. For families with little one, you will definitely love this hotel as you have an entire amusement park right across the hotel. The little ones will be busy for awhile. You have parking spaces in front of the hotel, but also a parking lot a few meters away. It is very convenient if you travel by car. All in all, we will definitely return here as our baby grows. As improvements perhaps, if we may suggest, having a laundry service for those staying here more than a week it will be a blessing. Also, a kettle in the room as well as iron board and iron. The movement detector for the Ac it defers it purpose as it stops if you are not moving, even at night, but that didn’t prevent us from having a great time here. Thank you and see you all soon."
