Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant de Cooghen ★★★
"Rear room on 2nd floor, no air conditioning, outdated interior and noisy parking lot with cleaning up catering from ground floor"
Grand Hotel Opduin ★★★★
"The room was clean. There is coffee. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna. table tennis. The vacation was comfortable. Come again next time"
Hotel Op Diek ★★★
"- Literally super clean, both room and all accommodation. - This is a nice professional coffee machine where we could drink unlimited during our stay. - Friendly staff, well helped, nothing is too stupid or too much and is very attentive. - Breakfast is a recommendation, we started our day well through the very wide offer. - We are equipped home! Thanks Team Hotel "On Diek""
Hotel Greenside Texel ★★★★
"We have been coming here for years and were there for 4 days including New Year's Eve. Called in advance to see if anything special was being done for "New Year's Eve". Still nice to really get away from it all. The booking for the restaurant had to be confirmed in advance due to the number of tables. In summary, the hotel still looks the same but it is NOT the same anymore. 2 bathrobes, one of which had a broken loop and the belt of the other was missing. Bad?? No of course not, but you don't want to be chasing a belt. You want to be unburdened. The dinner (buffet) was fine in taste but had nothing to do with the experience. You had to figure out for yourself that you had to get the wine at the bar. There you are, standing at the bar with 5 people waiting for staff to come to the bar. Because there was hardly any staff. Put your hand on your glass otherwise the small amount of wine would have evaporated before you reached your table. Others who see it and say "we had the same" The second time I cautiously made a comment about it. Result the same little bit with the message that it was supposed to be like that. The warming trays were empty several times. Neither the sauces nor the warming trays did it say what it was. At one point, when we got the wine, we discovered that there were 16 people waiting because there were no tables. People dressed up for "New Year's Eve" were put away in a corner without lighting or near the piano where the keys were on. "Can I come through for you?" For some who joined a little later, there was actually nothing left. Asked about it when leaving. The receptionist indicated that it had indeed not gone completely well, but there were also so many last-minute bookings. How then?? if you have no tables and too few to serve. Why such a long story? Well, simply because we think it is a shame for what it was and if it stays like this, people will drop out. No misunderstanding. Every concept has a revenue model at its basis. I am the last person you will hear about that. But especially in the catering industry the trick is to "cover up" this and to pamper people so that you don't see and register everything."
Prins Hendrik Texel ★★★
"The hotel itself is nice, in a great location - very peaceful with good outdoor space, right near the ocean. Unfortunately the lack of soundproofing in the rooms ruined our stay - the walls seemed to be paper thin, and we were given a room right next to the staircase so could hear every single other guest disturbing our stay massively. Equally, pretty crazy to be charged 5.5eur for a bottle of sparkling water from a tap..."
Hampton Home B&B Suites ★★★
"They charge a price per suite. However, if you stay in a suite alone, you pay more than if you stay there with two people???? When asked why that is, the answer was that we have to change the entire bed. Yeah, and for two people, you don't change the entire bed????? I think this is a sneaky way to collect the lost tourist tax; a scam."
Boutique Hotel Texel ★★★★
"This hotel was exceptional. We called in to see about availability and the receptionist showed us various rooms that would be available and their prices. She was friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious clean and beautifully appointed with a record player on the side! The spa and swimming pool were clean and quiet. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the food was absolutely delicious. The gin and tonic I had before hand was one of the best I’ve ever had and made with Texel gin! An all round great experience which we would highly recommend. Thank you to all staff x"
DuinHotel Texel ★★
Van der Valk Texel - de Koog ★★★★
"We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and right next to the National Park. Nicely appointed rooms. The rain shower was dreamy."
