"Beautiful location, super clean. Super nice staff. Great breakfast buffet. Stayed at a bungalow in the garden. Has a super nice bathroom/bathtub. BUT smells slightly like sewage and it rained all night and the roof is not sound proof so we didn't sleep much."

"The hotel is very good to stay at Diek. Prima room, very good bed and good bathroom with e.g. Rituals products. Breakfast is wide with, among others, beautiful biological yoghurt of Texel, good bread and cottage. You can take coffee and tea all day without limits."

"They charge a price per suite. However, if you stay in a suite alone, you pay more than if you stay there with two people???? When asked why that is, the answer was that we have to change the entire bed. Yeah, and for two people, you don't change the entire bed????? I think this is a sneaky way to collect the lost tourist tax; a scam."

"Not the Greenside it used to be... The service, the food and breakfast, if you come for the first time, then it is now a good 3 star hotel... But if you come as a loyal guest, it is a disappointment... staff does its best, Restaurant Wambinge is no longer there, you can eat there but a 3 course menu, no more menu, no wine list, food is good, also at breakfast pre-baked rolls instead of the real bakery, enough choice in terms of toppings etc..... our corner in the conservatory was closed... seating at the bar minimal, not inviting to sit down and no more service constantly present... looking around to see if someone can help... Rooms are good as it was... Reception has become a jack of all trades, lady in service, does a good job, but poor Dutch... does not understand all English is better... sometimes the reception helps out... But also at reception often no one to ask anything etc.... e.g. whether the sauna can be turned on.. Conclusion now a hotel but no more Greenside...."
