Pedi Beach Hotel

"Pedi is a small village round the coast from Symi town. The hotel is right on the sea front (there isn't really a beach as we would recognise it), in a sheltered bay. Staff were hardworking and pleasant. Marco, the manager, was very "hands on" and was always around for any queries. Our food was good hotel buffet style as we were in a group. They have an a la carte menu, presumably for individual tourists. Bedrooms were clean, good size, and had all normal amenities. Sun beds are effectively charged for. You get one if you purchase a drink. There is plenty of alternative seating around the hotel, however, in full sun or in a shaded area. Pedi itself has just a few restaurant/bars. It is very quiet and peaceful, and we believe many go there for the swimming experience. If you want a walk it is possible to get to a nearby beach but the footpath is not paved beyond the town limits. Walking from one end of the village to the other takes about 30 mins and is quite pleasant. We were there for just 3 days, and would not have wanted longer as it was too quiet for us.Symi town offers more in the way of a more lively holiday experience. Buses go to and from Symi town every 30 mins, and the trip takes about 15 mins. If you call a taxi they will charge you for the trip from Symi in addition to your journey."

"We have just returned home from another fabulous 11 night stay at The Old Markets. This boutique hotel oozes class and elegance and this year’s stay was no exception. Thank you to Carlo and all of the team for their hard work and making our stay so enjoyable and providing a first class service. The location of the Old Markets is excellent for the harbour, restaurants, shops and taxi boats. We caught up with old friends and made new ones including some also staying at The Old Markets. We are very much looking forward to our next stay here already."

"I was lucky to find this room! The people who have it are very nice and kind and very understanding, the room is big enough and comfortable for two people, very clean and there are all the essentials you need, water in the fridge, coffee and tea for the morning and even a mini kitchen in case you want to cook something, very close to the center, literally 3 minutes walk, it is the best for a couple who would like to spend their vacation or even a weekend, it counts a lot!"

"Lovely clean and well managed accommodation a two minute walk from Pedi. Lovely breakfast and bar open in the day/evening where you can sit out on the balcony - super host and incredible staff here who really looked after us during the stay - would definately stay here again"

"If having a chandelier and a fancy painted ceiling in your room means deluxe then we are truly living in luxury. However the reality is much more basic than deluxe. We have a bed , a fridge and a bathroom. There's also a wardrobe with a couple of drawers in it. I've stayed in bigger hotel rooms at less cost. I was expecting some sort of kitchen facility but maybe I didn't read the small print. Outside (we were on the ground floor) are a few tatty chairs and a table that have seen much better days - these are outside the front door in a public area. It isn't all bad. The rooms are OK. The bed is comfy, the air-conditioning works and the shower is good. Location is perfect but if I was to come again, the next door hotel would get my business. I didn't hate it but I feel you are being mis-sold on deluxe and for what you get they are overpriced."
