Hotel Noorjahan Grand ★★★★

📍 Waves 1 Dargah Gate, Sylhet

"As I use this app to book the hotel room they gave me one of the most standard rooms wasn’t really great value for money. I thought using the app I would get more privileges but unfortunately they didn’t happen. Service was okay food with alright it seems a bit rundown and old but facilities worked. Location was absolutely brilliant"

Rahma’s B&B ★★★

📍 Waves 1, H. S. Tower, Dargah Gate, Sylhet

"Rahma’s B&B was absolutely the best hotel I stayed at during my week-long trip to Bangladesh. My wife and I traveled to over ten countries together, and this hotel was one of the most attentive in all the countries we visited. We stayed here for two nights. Located in an alley, the friendly staff proactively helped us with our luggage, meaning we could sleep peacefully away from the noise of the main street. The room had a balcony where we could dry our clothes. The breakfast was fantastic; they delivered it to our room both nights. They even had my favorite Protta bread! When the front desk learned I liked it, they gave me an extra one the next day! The hotel helped us arrange our chartered car trips to Jaflong, Ratargul, and Shada Pathor. The price was very reasonable, and the driver was very considerate. When we returned from Jaflong, my wife felt dizzy and vomited in the room. The hotel staff promptly cleaned up after us, which made us feel both embarrassed and touched by their thoughtful service and assistance. The next morning, we were going to take a chartered car to Ratargul and Shata Pathor, but we needed to take a shuttle bus to Cox's Bazar that evening. This meant we had to check out after breakfast, and our clothes weren't dry yet. The staff generously helped us hang them to dry on the upstairs balcony, so we could return with dry clothes after a day of travel. What touched us even more was that when we returned from Shata Pathor at 5 PM, we were exhausted and smelly, and since we had already checked out and our bus to Cox's Bazar wasn't until 8:40 PM, we had nowhere to go. The hotel surprisingly allowed us to rest in our room for three hours free of charge! Now, after a shower, I'm comfortably lying in my room, enjoying the air conditioning, waiting for the bus to Cox's Bazar, and I'm writing this review with gratitude. If I ever come to Sylhet again, I will definitely stay here again. Rahma’s B&B was absolutely the best hotel I stayed in during my week-long trip to Bangladesh. Rose View Hotel ★★★★★
"Huge big rooms, very comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Must mention Lubna who was professional and helpful. The hotel looks slightly jaded. Also the entrance is horrible. The Hotel has its reception on the 5th floor which you access through an old rickety wobbly lift. The roof top swimming pool is a big disappointment. Despite being a small tub sized pool, they close it for the flimsiest of reasons. The breakfast too does not inspire and could do with a makeover. Nevertheless for Sylhet city, I would recommend this hotel as the GO-TO hotel!"

"Everything was great and their service and check in experience was perfectly good. I don't like the pool that much it was shallow water and not for everyone if someone don't know how to swim. One thing to point about breakfast, their breakfast items is not that much compared to the price!! Some hotels provide more items in breakfast which is cheaper than them. However overall experience was great"

Hotel Star Pacific ★★★★
"Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is listed as a 3 star but by European standards I think that is stretching it. I booked a Deluxe double room but the room that I was initially given was anything but. However, much to their credit, the issue was immediately resolved when I complained. I was shown a few options and choose a room that was fairly decent. The service was very good and all staff were very polite, pleasant and professional. The restaurant Manager was very hospitable and the staff were very attentive. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and I think it would be difficult to find anything better in Sylhet. Only the 'Rose View' rates better. I have given it a 4 star as it could do with some improvements, especially the bathroom as it looks ragged."
