"It was very clean and I was able to relax. The TV screen was large, so I was able to watch YouTube and listen to music. It would have been nice if they had provided bottled water in the refrigerator in the room. There was tea, but it was a little disappointing that there was no coffee. The large public bath was a natural hot spring from Suzaka Onsen, so it was very warming. The soba noodles at breakfast were delicious. I will definitely use it again."

"The owner and staff were always friendly and helpful including advice on the many local hiking trails. Very relaxed atmosphere making it easy to meet fellow travellers, staff and locals. The Japanese style rooms we’re comfortable and it has an excellent onsite cafe open Friday to Sunday. I stayed for 6 nights but will be back next year for a longer stay as such a great base to explore the area."

"I stayed in July 2026. This is my 4th revisit. It is an inn that I am satisfied with every time, so I will tell you one part of it. First of all, the comfortable location of the Minehara Plateau seen from the comfortable room, the green sky of the forest during the day, the wonderful stars 々 at night, and the Qing 々 wind in the morning, Both are comfortable environments. The meal is also high level. A French dinner made with a lot of local ingredients and time and effort. We were able to enjoy the night of the plateau in Nagano with a rich aroma of homemade bread and a rich drink including rare local wine. You can enjoy freshly baked homemade bread in the morning. This time, breakfast consists of crispy fresh vegetables, 5 kinds of burgers such as paté de campagne and roast beef, and stomach-friendly onion soup. Dinner and breakfast were both satisfactory enough. And the big element that makes you want to repeat is the heartfelt warm and homely service. Nowadays, the number of commercial or upper services is increasing in the world, and with a homely and comfortable response full of security, you can stay comfortably from check-in to check-out every time. . It is an inn that feels like I want to visit again after changing the season."
