We loved Room 306, where swallows put us to sleep with their gentle cooing and the bells woke us with smiles. There is an elevator for easy access and written quotes from native son Ovid on the cup covers in all of the rooms. Gianluca is full of suggestions for day trips and Signora Roseanna makes the best morning cappuccino ever! Angela runs the morning breakfast and she is a model of energy and hospitality. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to kick a soccer ball around with her son, Giovanni. Can’t say enough about this very special place!"

"My wife and I spent 5 delightful nights at the 6 room Stella Casabona with our sister/brother-in law. We booked the 2d floor suite which had a small terrace with table and chairs on the roof; their's was a suite on the 1st floor. Our room had a comfortable king bed, good-sized bathroom and a small desk area. The room was spotless clean with a refrigerator stocked with complimentary water. The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, cornetto (Italian version of a croissant), eggs to order and coffee, cappuccino, latte or tea. The owners of the B & B, brothers Roberto and Guiseppe, were always present to fulill our every request, including being available to drive us to a nearby winery (at a reasonable rate), recommend restaurants and suggest day trips. Their over-the-top hospitality permeated our entire visit. We highly recommend Stella Casabono!"

"We had a comfortable 3 nights at Sei Stelle. The location was excellent being very close to the main square. So this meant you had several restaurants and bars only a few steps away. The bedroom was nice and clean with a good bathroom and a decent shower. David was an exceptional host and the breakfast was good. This was a good choice of a place to stay in Sulmona."

"I’m a tour guide and stayed in the hotel with 2 groups coming from Belgium. The location is ideal to visit and discover the region. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant is cosy with a nice view of the garden. After an intensive day of sightseeing the garden and 2 swimming pools offer peace and quiet. The management makes their guests feel at home.
