Akisawa Hotel
7.2 (32 reviews)

Akisawa Hotel ★★★

📍 6-43 Saiwaicho, Sukumo

"The hotel was established in 1950 and has a nostalgic feel. Google Maps says there is a 24-hour Yoshinoya across from the entrance to the "busiest area". The busiest area was not busy at all and many shops were closed. The hotel rooms are relatively large and well-lit. The breakfast is a traditional Japanese set meal. There are ample parking spaces and the lobby receptionist is polite."

📍 Ekihigashimachi, 3-302, Sukumo

"Overall very good Japanese traditional hotel. I came to Sumao for a week after four countries bicycle round the island. This is the only choice nearby and the price is very affordable."

Hotel Avan Sukumo ★★

📍 1108, Sukumo

"This is practically the only hotel in the Sukumo area. There aren't many options, but there are a couple of places to eat nearby. While the hotel does offer some free services, the facilities are generally outdated and the cleanliness is poor."

Akisawa Hotel ★★★
"This hotel wasn't particularly appealing when I was choosing a hotel, so I thought I would use it if it was the last option left, but the room was very clean and I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to use it again next time."

Hotel Asahi ★★
"It wasn't as dirty as the reviews suggested; it was actually quite nice. The building is old, but the hotel staff were incredibly kind, the price was incredibly reasonable, and I have no complaints! I will definitely stay here again."
