"The room was spacious and beautiful, furnished with vintage furniture. The entire hotel was lovely. The rooftop white terrace offered stunning views and was lush with greenery—perfect for taking photos. The service was also very attentive. The breakfast was simple but of excellent quality. If the Wi-Fi speed is slow, you can easily switch to another network. This was the best value hotel I booked in Bolivia."

"Amazing B&B right in the heart of Sucre while feeling like a private little oasis. Carmen is a wonderful hosts and goes out of her way to ensure that your stay in Sucre is as special as possible. Lovely breakfast served in a beautiful courtyard/garden area. I spent a wonderful day reading in the garden on the deck chairs. Wonderful place to relax and recover after visiting the salt flats before heading towards la Paz and Lake Titicaca. Sucre is beautiful and you would be missing out to stay anywhere else while you are here!"
Hotel Villa Antigua
"Villa Antigua is very nice hotel located in the centre of Sucre. Built in the 18-sixties as a mansion, it was completely renovated in 2009. The hotel offers 21 rooms over 3 floors, and has a garden, a nice patio, a large top floor terracce, a gym & steambath, a breakfast restaurant, and a charming café. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was adequately furnished & decorated, with table & chair, TV & fridge, a high ceiling, wardrobe & safe, and a good queensize doublebed. We had a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower over the bath. The large window opens into the patio but has no mosquito screen. All was very clean. The buffet breakfast is good: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, eggs made to order, butter & marmalade, fruit & juice, cereals, yoghurt & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found Vila Antigua comfortable and very quiet and we had a good stay. Good value-for-money. Highly recommended."

"Lovely place, few steps from the main square. Rooms are clean, well furnished, with comfortable bed, safety box. Wifi works just fine. The building itself is beautiful, so the breakfast room, and the breakfast offer, as well. We had a great time!"

"This boutique hotel is fabulously located in the heart of Sucre in a colonial mansion. Our room had a lovely view of the interior courtyard and the rooftops of Sucre beyond. The room itself was tastefully styled with local,artworks, decorated bedsteads and colourful tapestries. A nice breakfast room on (I think) the sixth floor which had fabulous views over Sucre. The hotel team were very friendly and always helpful. A lovely place to stay in a lovely town."

"The location is great - and they had some of the comfiest beds in Bolivia. Friendly, helpful staff. Heaters in the room. Breakfast was fine. Nice courtyard to sit in. They do ONLY take payment in BOB cash - no credit card. They do not do laundry - but the neighboring B&B does. "
