"Please disregard the negative reviews, which were all made before the new ownership and recent renovations were completed. We had a wonderful stay at Risby Cove. The location is absolutely stunning, right on the waterfront with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special. We stayed in the Marina Suite (well worth the money) which overlooked the harbour, with seating on the balcony which allowed us to enjoy a glass of local wine whilst watching the sunset. I loved the two sided fireplace and generously sized bathroom which also included a full sized bath - luxury when you're travelling! Special shout out to Jas who was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, including offering tips on recommended stops for our drive across to the east coast (The Wall at Derwent Bridge is a must). Breakfast was delicious, and the on-site restaurant was excellent with fresh local produce and a great menu. We found Risby Cove to be a relaxing and memorable experience — highly recommended for anyone visiting Strahan. We will definitely be back."

"Very good, very satisfied, highly recommended, the landlord is very nice, everything in the room was thought of for us, sprayed oil, milk, seasonings, pots and pans, spoons, scissors, knives, dishcloths, clothes drying racks, washing powder, Soap, electric blanket, although it is not cold now, there is milk in the refrigerator, chocolates as small gifts, and toiletries. There is a laundry room behind the room, but we washed it ourselves and let it dry in the backyard for a while. It's very quiet and clean. It's the most comfortable B&B I've stayed in in Tasmania."

"Our two-bedroom unit was very spacious and comfortable, making it a pleasure to come back to each evening after a day out exploring around Strahan (the harbour cruise with World Heritage Cruises was excellent - you get to see and learn so much and the whole thing is run superbly! Hogarth Falls just close by is also a pleasant and rewarding walk). The owners were very welcoming and everything was smooth in terms of check-in/out and any queries we had. Good kitchen and bathroom, beds were comfy too. You won't be disappointed."
