Perhaps due to the large number of tourists during the National Day holiday, cleaning wasn't done properly, but thankfully the owner came promptly and was very helpful. Hopefully, the owners will prioritize hygiene, as this is the most important aspect of any guesthouse.

Choosing Funinglou for my Jizu Mountain pilgrimage was totally worth it! It's right next to the mountain gate, making it super convenient for walking uphill, and parking in the courtyard is hassle-free. The courtyard of this Bai ethnic minority house is quaint and charming, and enjoying tea and sunshine in the garden is incredibly pleasant. The rooms were spotless, and the bedding was comfortable and quiet. The owners, a local Bai couple, were incredibly welcoming. They not only gave me a very detailed guide to pilgrimage but also recommended less-known viewpoints. It felt like visiting relatives; the stay was much more comfortable than a hotel. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm at Jizu Mountain!
