2-Star Hotels in Bexar County

The hotel far exceeded my expectations. The free hotel shuttle is available, but you need to call the hotel for pickup at the airport. The room was spacious, brightly lit, and relatively quiet on the fourth floor. The air conditioner cools quickly, although it's a bit noisy. The shower's warm water comes on fast. Overall cleanliness was not bad, though there were some stains and a long hair on the towel. The bedding was very comfortable, and I had a good rest.

I usually stay at the Hampton Inn near the Riverwalk, but this was the closest for the event that I came to San Antonio to attend. The outside of the hotel could use a new paint job or sandblasting or something like that. The parking lot and adjoining side streets need serious repairs for potholes. The rooms were good, but some of the air conditioner units are older with weird mechanical sounds at times and need to be replaced. The breakfast was good and on time, but change up the menu every now and then. The staff was very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to stay, but be aware the city is doing a lot of new overpass and highway construction. It took me driving several miles until I found an open exit to get to the hotel. The hotel also needs an ATM in the lobby for convenience.

We were excited after reading the reviews on Google, but when we arrived the single elevator was broken. We asked for a first level room, but were told they were sold out for the night. We arrived to our room and it smelled like it was smoked in but covered in air freshener. The smell seemed to be soaked in the walls. Since we were already told they were sold out, we didn’t attempt to ask for another room. The rooms mostly clean. We had 3 people and only 2 sets of towels. The room felt muggy and again, smelled.

It belongs to the old-fashioned hotel. The main reason for choosing here is that parking is very convenient and close to the highway. To our Asian guests, I have never lived in this type of hotel, and it is also a very special experience. It seems to be experiencing the hotel in the happy green book movie plot. Breakfast is not much to choose from except for the muffin machine.

The service is always excellent, tue people at front desk are always quick and friendly. That's why I stay w them 2 or 3 times a month!👍

Hotel gut gelegen, sauber und ruhig, Frühstück war nicht so reichhaltig wie von Hampton gewohnt (kein Obst), Personal war teilweise nicht aufmerksam (Frühstück).
