Very close to Qianxing Square, the guesthouse is in the style of an old house, very cozy. The flowers and plants in the courtyard and the balcony are beautifully decorated. The owner was very kind and recommended more suitable itineraries based on my arrival time, and could also help arrange shared transportation. I originally booked a first-floor room, but because it was the off-season and I was the only guest, I was upgraded to the second floor. The small staircase had a retro feel. The owner even helped take photos upon arrival; their photography skills were excellent. Overall, the stay was very comfortable. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small (maybe it was related to the room type I booked), the mattress was a bit hard, the bathroom light was a bit dim, and the soundproofing wasn't great. The price-performance ratio is not high. A room like this with more than 700 yuan is not worth it.

It was already past five in the morning when we arrived, and he came out to pick us up. He was afraid that we would not get enough rest in the morning, so he upgraded us to another room at the same price. The experience was very good. It was a pity that we only stayed in Hezhou for one day. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

We first went to the visitor center to help with our luggage, added WeChat to buy tickets for 60 yuan, and then went to the inn to upgrade our room for free from the first floor to the second floor. It was very quiet. The room was small and there were few sockets. I mentioned it to her and she helped find sockets, turn on the TV, and called the driver from Hezhou Station to Huangyao Ancient Town. Thank you! The bathroom is spacious, and it would be nice to replace the hard bed that squeaks when you turn over.
