It was a surprise to stay in this B&B in Tacheng County. The room is very spacious, bright, clean and tidy. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. The room is very comfortable as a whole. The bath water is very good. The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very enthusiastic and pet-friendly. There is a large courtyard with convenient parking. It is very rich and worth recommending!

We had a great stay at this family-fun guesthouse (we are a family of three, travelling with a 3-year-old). The owners were super-friendly and very generous - they offered us complimentary fruit, including watermelon from their own field behind, wild honey, and even cooked some wild mushrooms that we had picked in the woods for us (after double-checking that they were edible!) The guestrooms are clean, light, comfortable and spacious - and there is air conditioning available in case it's slightly warmer in the summer months. The mattresses were also fairly comfortable. The location is great - next to a river, about a 10-minute drive up from Tacheng Town. This makes getting to the monkey reserve and Damozushi Temple (the main attractions) more convenient. On the food side, the breakfast was hearty to the extreme and varied from day to day, with various local specialties including local ******* Yak Butter Tea. Pretty much everything was homemade. You can also eat there in the evenings to avoid driving to town - and the lady that runs it is a great cook. Other pros include the lovely decking by the river and the walkway that the village has developed along the river bank - perfect for a morning/evening stroll, or in our case, taking our little one for a spin on her balance bike. We live in Lijiang, so not too far away - and will definitely be coming back to stay here again. 这次我们带着三岁的小宝贝，全家三口人在这家很有家庭味的客栈住得特别开心。老板夫妻特别热情大方，请我们吃自家地里种的西瓜、野蜂蜜，还帮我们把在山里采的野生菌烹调好（还贴心地先确认能不能吃），味道真是一绝！ 房间干净明亮，宽敞舒适，夏天稍热的时候还有空调可用，床垫也挺舒服的，睡得很踏实。 位置很好，就在河边，离塔城镇开车大概十分钟。去猴子保护区和达摩祖师庙这些景点都很方便。 早餐丰盛得不得了，而且天天不重样，还有不少当地特色，比如藏族的酥油茶，基本都是自家做的。晚餐也可以直接在客栈吃，省得开车去镇上，老板娘手艺没得说。 另外，河边的露台和村里沿河修的栈道都很美，早晚散步很舒服，我们还带着孩子在那儿骑平衡车，玩得不亦乐乎。 我们平时生活在丽江，离这里不算远，以后一定会再来！

The rooms and bathrooms are quite big and clean. Because of the newly opened, the quilt pillows are new and there is an elevator for easy access. The boss and the front desk clerk are thoughtful and enthusiastic, and they must help if they have anything to do.

We booked one night and extended it for another. It was a really great guesthouse. The landlady was kind and friendly, offering a lot of help and even giving us fruit. The room was spacious, and they even upgraded our room type. Tacheng is a place well worth visiting. We got incredibly close to the wild Yunnan golden monkeys, visited the Bodhidharma Cave, and stumbled upon stunning rapeseed fields along the way. It was truly a perfect trip.

This is a noisy hotel, we could hear the neighbours talking and showering. There was also a lot of noise from the street. It was quiet only after midnight. The room was clean, the sanitary facilities though outdated. Nice view of the mountains. Friendly owners.

The owner of Shenchuan is wonderful! I am a foreigner and and the owner helped to organize my transport to Tacheng from Shangri-La and back, which I appreciate so much. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff also helped arrange a driver to take me to the Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park. I am so grateful for their help!

The room is very warm, the boss is warm and thoughtful, check out after two o'clock, eat a lot around, parking is convenient, good.
