It was a surprise to stay in this B&B in Tacheng County. The room is very spacious, bright, clean and tidy. The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas. The room is very comfortable as a whole. The bath water is very good. The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very enthusiastic and pet-friendly. There is a large courtyard with convenient parking. It is very rich and worth recommending!

We had a great stay at this family-fun guesthouse (we are a family of three, travelling with a 3-year-old). The owners were super-friendly and very generous - they offered us complimentary fruit, including watermelon from their own field behind, wild honey, and even cooked some wild mushrooms that we had picked in the woods for us (after double-checking that they were edible!) The guestrooms are clean, light, comfortable and spacious - and there is air conditioning available in case it's slightly warmer in the summer months. The mattresses were also fairly comfortable. The location is great - next to a river, about a 10-minute drive up from Tacheng Town. This makes getting to the monkey reserve and Damozushi Temple (the main attractions) more convenient. On the food side, the breakfast was hearty to the extreme and varied from day to day, with various local specialties including local ******* Yak Butter Tea. Pretty much everything was homemade. You can also eat there in the evenings to avoid driving to town - and the lady that runs it is a great cook. Other pros include the lovely decking by the river and the walkway that the village has developed along the river bank - perfect for a morning/evening stroll, or in our case, taking our little one for a spin on her balance bike. We live in Lijiang, so not too far away - and will definitely be coming back to stay here again.

The rooms and bathrooms are quite big and clean. Because of the newly opened, the quilt pillows are new and there is an elevator for easy access. The boss and the front desk clerk are thoughtful and enthusiastic, and they must help if they have anything to do.

This Airbnb stay was absolutely perfect! 🌄 📍The location is superb, surrounded by beautiful scenery and incredibly convenient transportation, making it easy to reach popular attractions and explore local cuisine. 🏠The room was clean and tidy, with a unique and thoughtfully designed style that showcased quality in every detail. The soft and comfortable bedding ensured a good night's sleep every night. The amenities were also comprehensive, from high-speed Wi-Fi to exquisite toiletries, perfectly meeting all my needs. 👨👩👧👦The host's warm hospitality added even more to the stay. They not only prepared detailed travel guides for us in advance but also offered assistance throughout our stay, making us feel exceptionally cared for. Here, I not only found comfortable accommodation but also experienced the warmth and care of home. Highly recommended for all travelers! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a noisy hotel, we could hear the neighbours talking and showering. There was also a lot of noise from the street. It was quiet only after midnight. The room was clean, the sanitary facilities though outdated. Nice view of the mountains. Friendly owners.

The owner of Shenchuan is wonderful! I am a foreigner and and the owner helped to organize my transport to Tacheng from Shangri-La and back, which I appreciate so much. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff also helped arrange a driver to take me to the Yunnan Golden Monkey National Park. I am so grateful for their help!
