"This park has become a favourite place to stay when wanting to get out amongst the granite boulders, this is a gorgeous place to use as a base to explore the National Park or you can relax right here...there is so much to do or just sit under a tree looking at the lake. Being near the water, especially in summer makes this park very attractive, the location on Storm King Dam (which has lots of water in it at the moment) is good for a swim, paddling in a canoe, fishing, and photography...lots of birds, rabbits and roos - is so nice to see some wildlife. We stayed in one of the very economical mini cabins which are comfortable and all you need again as a place to rest your head after an adventurous day. We brought food with us picked up at Woolies in Stanthorpe and ate and drank well. There is so much good reasonably priced food, wines and treats to be had in the area.The Cabin is self contained, has a fridge! and for $10.00 you can have linen provided or bring your own. The park is very well kept, tidy, the amenities clean, had a lovely hot shower for 5 mins but that is a reasonable time. You will probably want to finish before that anyway. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it highly. Enjoy your time here as we did.."

"We had three nights in Cottage 6. The breakfast basket was delightful with homemade marmalade, croissants and fresh bread from the local bakery. The fireplace was stacked ready to go on the first night and the outside box was restocked each day. Advice was given on all local attractions and restaurants. The cottage was well equipped and extremely clean. It is situated just off the highway (but no traffic noise), close to everything ...even McDonald's!"

"We had such a fabulous, relaxing 3-night stay in Cabin 4. We absolutely loved the location, the beautiful property and the peaceful serenity. The cabin was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fireplace was a lovely touch and the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, dog friendly too so our dog loved her stay. We will be returning."
