"We stayed at The Dewan by Royal Naqash for one night during our visit to Srinagar. The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and overall it is a good option for exploring the city. Our package included both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the dinner. The menu offered very limited variety, and the food lacked the flavour we were expecting. Srinagar is a wonderful city for food lovers, with numerous restaurants serving authentic Kashmiri cuisine. I would recommend booking the hotel with breakfast only and enjoying your dinners at local restaurants instead. As we had to leave for Sonmarg at 6:00 a.m., we requested a packed breakfast. Unfortunately, that too was quite disappointing in terms of both quality and selection. Overall, the hotel scores well on comfort and location, but its food is an area where significant improvement is needed. If you stay here, skip the dinner package and explore Srinagar's excellent local food scene."

The resort location and setup including cottage stay duly compliment and amplify once good experience in the valley. The staff was very polite and courteous. Bilal, Mohamad and Sajad(Chef) were my heroes. Keep it up guys. However , I felt that the resort has staff shortage overburdening the current staff in case of housefull scenario. "

As an honest feedback, south indian items (Dakshin Tiffin) need improvement. Kahwa is a must try. True to the spirits of Kashmiriyat, all staff are guests-friendly, especially Mr Altaf, Head of F&B was very responsive to our breakfast needs by arranging 3 packs when we had to start at 6.30 A.M. for ********. In short, good value for money. Reception can arrange taxi and travel services for you for an extra payment but we had opted for app-based services of Uber."
