The Carmel Mission Inn, a stylish hotel that provides a great central location to explore Carmel and all that the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. The hotel is in a ideal location with an array of amenities that include a heated pool, a spacious hot tub and fitness room. Imagine your trip to Carmel with its breathtaking beaches, great restaurants, world-class golf courses, an endless variety of leisure activities plus a wealth of unique shops that make up the Monterey Peninsula experience.

"Very exquisite, clean and quiet hotel with a good environment. Maybe it's not the weekend, so there are few people. The room is big, but the air conditioner is noisy. It is far from the town of Carmel and there is no car nearby. The shops opposite the hotel closed before 8 o'clock, and the supermarket was open until 10 o'clock. I finally found a barbecue restaurant that was open until 9 o'clock and had dinner there."

"This place is fantastic! The hotel has a pool on the second floor, plus a small hot tub, which was perfect for soaking away travel fatigue. There's also a laundry room on the second floor, which was a lifesaver for us after driving down Highway 1 for days (the older hotels we stayed at before didn't have one). My wife was so happy! On the first floor, there's a water dispenser that even has various flavored sodas. I highly recommend all hotels offer this; it's delicious! The room was spacious and very clean; my family was all very satisfied. Finally: If you're staying in Monterey, you should definitely try kayaking – you might even encounter sea lions, sea otters, and seals nearby!"

"The location of the hotel is not bad, but when the navigation is on the back door, it makes a few more laps. Parking is free. The room is not too big, but very clean and tidy. Both refrigerator and microwave oven are available. Breakfast was stopped due to the epidemic. Staying here after walking 17 miles and Carmel on California Highway 1 is much cheaper than Carmel! recommend!"

The hotel service is very good, sweeping away the fatigue of the journey on Highway 1. The drinks and snacks in the room are free, and the food in the restaurant is also very good, especially reflecting the freshness of California ingredients. The foods that are so rich in vegetables are rarely eaten in China.

We stayed on the second floor for peace and quiet, and luckily it was a weekend, so it wasn't crowded. We stayed for three nights in a very quiet environment. The cleanliness was quite good, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. They also had coffee and tea, but the quality was just average. Check-in and check-out were both very quick. The only downside was that the price we paid through the platform was much higher than the price we got at the hotel.

For a resort that starts at ~$2,000/night this place falls very short in various areas. For an all inclusive resort there were very few dining options (it was either the sur house or the pool side bar). Most of the staff were really friendly but we did feel like the housekeeping staff weren’t too professional at times (once they opened the door to our room even when we told them to give us a few seconds to get to the door). Although the resort is in a beautiful location, I don’t know if I would consider this place luxurious.

Unpleasant stay experience. At the time of check-in, there was no door*** at the entrance. Someone was in front of the registration. After leaving the question, the front desk staff did not take the initiative to receive it. I also asked for the initiative to go forward. There was no smile in the process. Applying for a crib at check-in, one is bad, and I don’t see it until I leave it. The breakfast was delivered to the room and it felt a bit like a fast food, cutlery plastic. When I checked out, when I asked if I could give me a bill, the service staff threw two sheets of paper at hand. I was shocked. I asked if there was an envelope and then I threw it. The details of such a service made me think that I lived in a normal hotel. By the way, the hotel will charge an additional $30 environmental fee, saying that the hotel is built in a protected area...

A run-down resort hotel. I drove past it on California Highway 1. I didn't listen to the comments and booked it for nearly 4,000 dollars. The view was OK. The loft was two floors high and too old. This was not the fatal flaw. The staff was too careless (for example). Figure 5: There are two shampoos hanging in the shower room, but no shower gel. This is the first time in my life that the front desk opened a room where guests were staying. After having a limited dinner of fries and hamburgers in the building where we checked in (such a large resort has only one restaurant that caters to all dining needs), we walked in the dark to the building where we were staying, climbed the stairs and opened the door. There were used drinks on the table in the living room, and the bed was messy. I was shocked. You have to know that this is a country where you can carry guns. If there was someone in the room, we would be considered trespassing and we could defend ourselves. I immediately called the front desk and told them that they had given the wrong room card and that a new one would be sent. The waiter drove an electric car to deliver the room card and asked three questions (Why was the wrong room card sent? Where is our car? Where is our luggage? He answered all three ”I don't know” and left without even taking the wrong room card back.) My husband got angry and ran to the front desk with my son to argue. After negotiations, they said they had asked the manager to waive half a day's room fee. Because my son was young and this was the first time I encountered this kind of problem, I didn't leave the name, title and phone number of the person who made the promise. When I checked out the next morning, a different staff member said that the previous shift had not taken over and didn't know about the matter. After another round of tug-of-war, they said they could give us a free breakfast, and we accepted it based on the principle of not affecting our holiday mood. This free a la carte breakfast tasted much better than the buffet breakfast in the previous few days.

I stayed in Monterey for two nights to watch whales. The hotel is very close to the port and it is very convenient to drive for ten minutes. However, I was very seasick when I went out to sea. I fell asleep as soon as I got back to the hotel. The breakfast the next day was quite rich, with fried rice

Good location, walk 10 minutes to the old fisherman's wharf, there is a Chinese supermarket on the right. The room structure is reasonable and easy to use, and the bedding and sofa are comfortable. Cold meals are available at 16:00 in the lobby, ham cheese fruit wine is very good. No hot food for breakfast and no meat, sorry. Overall good and worth recommending. Monterey town is beautiful, there is no parking near the aquarium, 17miles is beautiful, and the coastline of camel town is stunning.
