Because my son was young and this was the first time I encountered this kind of problem, I didn't leave the name, title and phone number of the person who made the promise. When I checked out the next morning, a different staff member said that the previous shift had not taken over and didn't know about the matter. After another round of tug-of-war, they said they could give us a free breakfast, and we accepted it based on the principle of not affecting our holiday mood.
