The Belagri Hotel & Convention
7.7 (19 reviews)

The Belagri Hotel & Convention ★★★★

📍 Jl. Merapi No.8, Klabala, Distrik Sorong Barat, Sorong

"Overall, the place is good. Maybe not the best for foreign tourists. It’s more of a convention place for Indonesians. ATM is 15 minutes away walking. Plastic keys are a bit worn out but the room is very good. A view from my room and from the top floor is fantastic. Location wise maybe it could have been better to be closer to the ferry but a grab ride was only 50000 idr. Service was generally good but there were a number of misunderstandings all of which were resolved."

Aston Sorong Hotel & Conference Center ★★★★
"Well located for airport transfers and good breakfast spread, that opens at 5:30am. Perfect for a stay between travelling to Waisai or out of Sorong. However, the charge of IDR 100,000 pp for an airport transfer is ridiculous, considering it takes less than 10 minutes to walk there."

Swiss-Belhotel Sorong ★★★★
"Walking distance to the Sorong-Waisai ferry, western & local options for the breakfast buffet and great staff. Could be cleaner, the streets are noisy at night & the facilities are getting old. However, I’m not aware of the other options in Sorong… perhaps this one is the best. Do yourself a favor and book the VIP tickets for the ferry!"

M Hotel Sorong Managed by East Season ★★★
"There are two M Hotels, next to each other. Friendly staff showed us the fancier place where our room was well prepared. A friend stayed at the cheaper M Hotel and wasn't very happy. We were happy with our room(s); (we extended our stay twice). The hotel needs some maintenance, but generally the rooms are clean and most electronic equipment is working. Wifi is OK. We didn't make use of the breakfast, as we are early birds."

"No claims to the junior service staff. There are claims to the administration: 1. It was necessary to change two rooms from behind the loudly working, ripping, air conditioning. 2. The enabled "Breakfast" is a suitable bakery and thermos with boiling boiler on the stool :)"
