Miharuen
"A well located, quiet hotel with very welcoming and helpful staff who make the effort to help with communication, despite the fact that I don't speak Japanese. An onsen that relaxes and unwinds after a long day of walking. I highly recommend it."
Hotel Route-Inn Sakurai Ekimae
"I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the amenities were excellent (they even had disposable slippers). I was also able to rent an iron. I didn't have time to use it, but there was a large public bath on the first floor. What's more, even though I booked a room-only stay, I was able to enjoy the breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the first floor. The location is great, close to the station, and it's clean with both breakfast and a large public bath. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip."
Fairfield by Marriott Mie Okuise Odai
"The accommodations were very clean, the amenities were great, and I was very satisfied with the hospitality. The room was spacious. I was also very satisfied with the comfortable lobby. However, there are not many restaurants nearby, so I need to do some research! I am very, very satisfied with the hotel! Thank you very much!"
Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Minamiyamashiro
"Perhaps because we came via Uji, we had to travel through a very tight single lane mountain road covered in thick foliage, that was meant for dual traffic use. Sun was down early, so by 5pm we were driving through darkness. But this hotel didn't disappoint, service was super good (shoutout to Hashan!), very glad we booked this hotel. For the price, it's totally worth it. Great quality bedding, rooms were clean and modern, views of tea plantation was calm. Breakfast at a service area next door linked by a walkway served perfect Japanese meals for cheaps. Lobby had a coffee machine free for use. Shower water pressure was strong, temperature was easy to control. Really lives up to its name! Oh and, 20 minutes drive away is Iga city, really nice small town with really good food and solid recommendations by this Fairfield!"
Akame Onsen Hidden Hot Spring Taisenkaku
"Beautiful place, easy access with 10 minures bus from the train station. Amazing meals and breathtaking views. Onsen is wonderful too, there were not crowded, so my friend with tattoes was able to go as well. Friendly place, would recommend to stay here to relax. The time here is going much slower than in the city. Also check the akame 48 waterfall trail. Thats definitely a must-see experience"
Hounkan
"This is an old ryokan with a history. Everything was smooth and beautiful, though we did not speak Japanese, nor the personnel speak our language, we were able to communicate and enjoy open air bath, traditional dinner and breakfast. The stuff is professional, warm and friendly. The area itself is famous for pilgrimage and views. Apart from soaking in a bath, one can walk around the village and visit numerous shrines and one magnificent huge temple, which is absolute must-see. Another delight is the beautiful view from the ryokan window. The same breathtaking feeling may have at the dining hall watching remote hills and the valley down the hill. Very authentic experience of traditional Japanese relax holiday. highly recommended!"
AB Hotel Igaueno
"Excellent value for money. One of the staff members speaks near-perfect English and was very helpful in solving my problems. The others were also very friendly and welcoming."
