📍 Obala Stjepana Radica 22, Slano

"Spotlessly clean apartments with everything you need for your stay. The surroundings are gorgeous and so well maintained. Couldn't fault our stay. Thankyou. Apartments are located 2 doors from a a small shop selling fresh bread and essentials. There are 2 local restaurants and a mini supermarket. Slano it's self is gorgeous, so peaceful and relaxing. Good public transport with buses and we used Ubers which took about 35 minutes to get to Old Town Dubrovnik which was fabulous. Will be back :)"

📍 Trg Ruđera Boškovića, Slano

"A bit disappointed as there was no body lotion, hair conditioner, cotton buds etc. One would expect this in 5 * hotel. Being vegetarian it was very hard to find food in the hotel. Only choice I had was pasta. . They charge 24 euros per hour each if you want to play tennis. from Slano to Dubrovnik taxi is about 70 euros. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly but not at the reception. Overall hotel looked very nice & beautiful beach ."

"I wish that I had read the reviews on this place before I booked, because then I don't think I would have gone. The hotel is in a lovely location but is a good 45 minute drive out of Dubrovnik and a further 30 minutes from the airport. The building is soulless, stark white ceilings and walls and no artwork to break them up. Staff were mostly all friendly and it was fairly clean. Bedrooms adequate but there is a 30cm step over the thresehold to the patio door onto the patio, not easy, and the solid balcony screens, coupled with quite small windows, hinders the views from the room. The restaurant was perhaps the most disappointing as it was more akin to a school canteen, you feel rushed all the time as there is one trolley clearing finished plates etc being followed by another relaying tables so that everyone can eventually eat. Typically a four course meal would be all completed in under forty minutes. Food was at best edible, but so boring as it is practically the same each day and if you don't get in early it will probably only be warm. The all inclusive beer varies between very nice to almost undrinkable and we found that the only way to drink the wine was to turn it into a splitzer by adding 50% sparkling water."

Apartments Villa Riva ★★★★
"Excellent apartment well equipped and in a beautiful location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Really great value for money and have already booked to come back next year. There is only a small food store i the area so recommend going further afield to a larger supermarket if you want to cook in the apartment."

"If your searching for a quiet, relaxing and stressful free holiday this is the place for you. The holiday offers a sea front location with views of the sea and mountains. The Adrimal is a well appointed hotel that is maintained to a high standard. It is spotless throughout. Location Slano is approx 30km from Dubrovnik and 50 minutes transfer from Dubrovnik Airport. Its is a quiet sea front town set into a picturesque mountain. The area has a couple of restaurants and 2 bars. This location is for couples to relax, unwind and take a break. The hotel is located on the sea front with direct access to a public shingle beach. There is also a marina to walk along in the the evenings. Everyone thing is on your door step and in 5 mins walk. Slano includes 2 mini markets for essentials, a couple of souvenir shops, a bakery and a pharmacy. This location will not suit everyone. If it's chill and pure relaxation this is the place for you. Not a location for young/ teenagers and family but might suit older teenagers. Hotel Hotel is spotless throughout and well maintained. Air Con everywhere for comfort. There is one bar inside the hotel that opens till 11pm and a small room off the bar to watch sport if you like. It offers a large spacious breakfasts and dining room if your going B&B or half board. Hotel Facilities The Adrimal offers a full indoor pool, outdoor pool and direct access to the sea on the beach front. It has a small games room with a pool table, a spa treatment area, a gift shop, a hair dressor shop, pool bar an accompanying restaurant outside and a coffee/ice cream bar. There are some adjoining tennis courts but it is way to hot to attempt play. I believe you can hire bikes but again too hot. Bedrooms Bedrooms are clean and well appointed. All rooms have balconies with various views from premium seaviews to mountain views. The rooms are spacious. The fixings and furniture have got a little tired over the years but notna major issues. All rooms have a large adjoining bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Some toiletries are supplied but are basic. There is a small TV, couch, wardrobe and a variety or writing table. All rooms have a functioning AC. The rooms also have an electriconic panel to operate the AC, access a do not disturb sign or order maid service. The bed is firm but comfortable. The pillows are a wee bit over size and rooms could benefit from a 2 pillow option to suit other sleepers. Rooms are services every day from about 8am till 1 pm. Breakfast Opens at 6.30am till 10.30am It offers a buffet style breakfast with plenty or options. The usual eggs, hashbrowns, mushrooms, roasted veg to salads, fresh breads, fruit and pastries. It is relaxed and stress free breakfast no kids running around or ques fir the coffee machines. 7 to 8 is quieter with 9 to 10 being peak times but still this would not be overwhelmingly busy. Breakfast offers a seafront view. Evening meals start from 7pm but can't comment as we never accused this. I belive"

"Me and my partner booked this as a last minute get away. We were happy that we found a 4* for a what appears to be a reasonable price in a country we wanted to visit. However when we arrived it soon became clear that this was not a 4* establishment or service even when the package cost just over £700pp (and the fact this increases later in the year is terrible). we are clearly not the only people that think this based on trip-adviser and hearing other people in the hotel. Quite frankly we have stayed in better 2 stars than hotel osmine. We requested a hotel move as soon as we checked in for reasons that I outline later but where told that our rep would contact us and the reasons we were upset was dismissed. We spoke with Toni (jet 2 rep) the day after arrival he was very understanding and considerate of why we were upset. He explained that there would be a massive price increase to move hotel which we where not happy to pay on top of an already expensive last minute trip. He arranged for us to move rooms however this did not help our overall situation. We even thought about going home early however managed to scrape through for the week. Pros- nice views and room clean. Dubrovnik Center very cool if you manage to make your way there (however extremely expensive). Cons- 1. No cocktails included in all inclusive a simple “sex on the beach” was an extra charge. No drinks such as gin and tonic. 2. There was no air conditioning working in our room. When we asked reception about this they said that it was not hot enough yet to turn it on. Multiple nights we did not sleep due to high temperatures in the room. Which for a 4 star is ridiculous. Air conditioning should be a standard for a 4* 3. Staff often rude and unhelpful. And made you feel like a burden when asking about anything. 4. Soft drinks poor- unbranded and not nice tasting, Coffee also poor- when machines were working and wines undrinkable. Tiny glasses given with drinks- beer possibly a quarter pint? And soft drinks even less than that. 5. No iron or coffee & tea making facilities which for a 4* should be a given. States that there is a TV in the room however there is absolutely no English’s channels and subtitles did not come on. No way of connecting phone to stream or use personal streaming service. 6. Lunch and dinner only available 2 hours at a time making meal times very busy and very restrictive of when you can eat. 7. Food was very poor in general (mains one night turkey nugget’s and fried shark). 8. Snacks during the day were served at 16:30 (usually chips, fish and fruit) however this would be overrun with people and service would stop if food ran out which it did most days and meant waiting in a line for 20 minutes at times. Evening snacks served at 2300 however very little choice and at times this was removed at 23:30 9. The one and only place you could get a drink during the day was the pool bar which was a 15 minute walk from the rooms therefore having a balcony "
