"We stayed at the Hotel Trezor for a couple of nights, choosing it as a base for visiting Lake Constance and the Rhine Falls. Our choice proved to be a good one, despite the hotel's location being far from the city center. The location is also convenient, with supermarkets and fast food outlets nearby, and we found several restaurants nearby for dinner. The room we were assigned, a group of five of us traveling, was spacious and clean, even though it was on the basement level. The hotel has a secure, enclosed parking lot, which is convenient and safe. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, with a good selection. The only inconvenience we had was the layout of the buffet room, which has a few steps. Moving around with full plates and glasses wasn't the most comfortable experience. Overall, the Hotel Trezor is a practical and comfortable option for those who want to explore the Lake Constance area and neighboring Switzerland, offering good value for money."

"Positives: The breakfast was very reasonably priced (especially for Germany), and had a good variety. The air con worked. The bed was comfortable. Negatives: The room I stayed in had one bad bit of design - the light in the bathroom was on a motion sensor i.e. if you get up in the night to visit the bathroom, you get fully woken up by bright white light. In fact all of the lighting in the room was quite stark. The hotel is both an IBIS Styles and IBIS Budget, and there seems to be a little bit of a Victorian country house atmosphere where the people at the Budget side had their own entrance, their own breakfast room and their own elevator - a little off-putting."
