Joya Properties in Shanghai

This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts an elegant and grand ambiance, with spacious rooms and well-maintained facilities. The hygiene was impeccable, and the bathroom was spotless and refreshing. The staff were polite, attentive, and provided thoughtful service. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Despite being in a central location, it was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a high quality of rest. The overall atmosphere was wonderful, making for a relaxing and comfortable stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely return if I have the chance.

Staying at Lujiazui Xiyue was a delightful surprise. The hotel boasts a new Chinese-style minimalist design, creating a wonderful ambiance. It's located right next to the riverside promenade, perfect for a leisurely stroll and enjoying the river views. The room was spacious and clean, with soft bedding that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views, and the city lights at night were absolutely captivating. Hannah, a staff member, was gentle, efficient, and very responsive to requests. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place, highly recommended for anyone traveling to Shanghai.

I was there from 1-6 Aug. Service is excellent! From service desk they are wonderful. Our chambermaid has been very attentive, she would clean our room when we are out within her schedule and she provides us the toiletries and water we need on a timely basis. She’s friendly, service oriented and helpful! Front desk is also very accommodative and service oriented. They are always looking out for us like storing our luggages and other requests in a timely manner. The security also looks out for our grab car and help us with luggages. Personally, I love the soft drinks concept teh hotel have, quietness and cleanliness. Thanks, Joya hotel! Hope to come again!

The hotel is conveniently located right by Zhouqiao Old Street, very easy to find. Across the road are Huilongtan Park and Jiading Confucius Temple, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Jiading Museum and Qiuxia Garden. We had breakfast and then spent the morning exploring the free attractions nearby – the location is truly excellent. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was new and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly roomy. It would have been perfect if there was a bathtub by the window! When we checked out, we were even given coffee as a farewell gift. A big thank you to the handsome Xiao Shao! The hotel has a courtyard and a long corridor, which I believe are preserved from the original old building. There's also a citron tree in the courtyard with many fruits. In the morning, I saw a pile of what looked like fallen fruits in the restaurant.
