Stayed two nights for a business trip. The room was great, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and breakfast exceeded expectations – truly top-tier for a non-5-star hotel. It was also very convenient to make tea in the room. I'll definitely come back next time.

I was in Shanghai for a day on short notice, and a friend in Changning District recommended this hotel, saying its biggest draw was its excellent value for money. After staying for a day, I can definitely say that compared to other hotels I've booked on Ctrip in different cities at a similar price point, The Serenity Hotel's style is truly unique. Upon entering the lobby, the first thing you notice are the front desk staff in their plain uniforms – simple yet sophisticated. The breakfast quality is also top-notch for its category. While the hotel's decor might not boast the same investment as a Marriott-level five-star, you can clearly see the designer's meticulous attention to detail throughout. Overall, it certainly lives up to its five-diamond rating on Ctrip. The location is also superb, situated in the upscale Gubei New Area of Changning, and only a 25-minute drive from Hongqiao Airport. Recommendation: Five stars.

The hotel is conveniently located right by Zhouqiao Old Street, very easy to find. Across the road are Huilongtan Park and Jiading Confucius Temple, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Jiading Museum and Qiuxia Garden. We had breakfast and then spent the morning exploring the free attractions nearby – the location is truly excellent. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was new and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly roomy. It would have been perfect if there was a bathtub by the window! When we checked out, we were even given coffee as a farewell gift. A big thank you to the handsome Xiao Shao! The hotel has a courtyard and a long corridor, which I believe are preserved from the original old building. There's also a citron tree in the courtyard with many fruits. In the morning, I saw a pile of what looked like fallen fruits in the restaurant.
