I booked this hotel because my company is nearby and it's not far from the hospital, as I was bringing my parents for a medical appointment.

The hotel entrance is a bit small and easy to miss. It's about a 10-minute walk from Xujiahui subway station, Exit 1. It's right next to Nanyang 1931, making dining and shopping convenient. The lobby is quite spacious and usually not crowded. The family room felt a bit cramped for three adults, but that's understandable for a prime location in the city center where space is at a premium.

Breakfast was originally for two, but the hotel kindly provided an extra portion for free. There weren't many people eating breakfast, so there was no queue, and the variety was decent. Their heated towel rail (shown in the fourth picture) was quite useful for drying clothes and towels. The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping and restocking were prompt. It's a good option for a two or three-night stay for business trips or family vacations, and you can also explore the Xujiahui area.

The river view room offers a spectacular view with its large floor-to-ceiling windows. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. When I arrived at the hotel, it was raining, and a staff member immediately came out with an umbrella to help me with my luggage, which shows their great service attitude. The breakfast was decent, and the cleanliness was good too. However, the soundproofing is really poor; I could clearly hear the sound of water running next door. Everything else was pretty standard.

The hotel was quite clean, and the washbasin and shower area were spacious, making it convenient for washing up and skincare, with plenty of room for toiletries. As it's a mid-to-high-end brand under the Huazhu Group, honestly, there isn't much difference compared to an H Hotel (no criticism intended, just an observation). The decor shows some new Chinese/Zen-inspired details, but I think the most unique feature is the hotel lobby's design. The service was also quite similar. Since I woke up late every day, I didn't get to try the hotel's breakfast or use the gym, so I can't comment on those.

The hotel entrance is grand, definitely one of the more upscale places around here. At night, I needed a data cable and chopsticks, and the young lady (staff member) was so kind to run back and forth for me multiple times. In the morning, I was stunned by the beautiful view outside the window while having breakfast, and the breakfast itself was also very good. The overall price of the hotel isn't expensive, offering excellent value for money. Special thanks to Ms. Zhu for her thoughtful service. This trip was totally worth it!

We are a young family visiting Chengdu for the first time and our first arrival experience was amazing. The hotel prepared everything meticulously for us from room service to personalised butler service. Rita - who works at the hotel was easy to communicate and responded quickly to our requests through Wechat. Other employees also did everything they could to assist us when we have questions or issues. 

The family room with the duck theme was fantastic, this kept our child engaged and playful. Room was clean, minibar was replenished everyday. We also received gifts from the hotel when we departed. We will consider booking Joya again when we visit Chengdu next time.

My three-night stay was an incredibly satisfying experience.

The front desk service was professional and efficient: check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and smiling, and they proactively upgraded me to a quiet room on a higher floor, while also providing a detailed overview of the hotel facilities.

The room itself was comfortable and spotless: it was spacious and bright, the mattress was perfectly firm yet soft, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure was excellent. The mini-bar was restocked daily, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Breakfast exceeded all expectations: the variety was astounding, ranging from Chinese dim sum and a live noodle station to Western pastries and baked goods. I especially recommend the local specialty, freshly pan-fried potstickers; I was awakened by their delicious aroma every morning.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and it offers exceptional value for money. My only suggestion would be to perhaps add more fresh fruit options. Overall, it far surpassed my expectations and will be my top choice for future stays.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The environment was clean and tidy, and the hygiene standards were very reassuring. The staff were attentive and professional, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation, making it very easy to get around. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, suitable for both leisure and business. Furthermore, the hotel did a great job with privacy protection, ensuring a very secure and comfortable stay. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would recommend it to friends and family.
