Hotels in Xuhui District, Shanghai

The bedding was comfortable and clean. We received a free room upgrade, and we could see Xujiahui Cathedral from our window. The shower had strong water pressure, and the air conditioning got nice and cool. The hotel is located in the heart of Xujiahui, making transportation and dining very convenient. Xujiahui Cathedral, Xuhui Bookstore, and the Jiaotong University campus are all just a stone's throw away.

Great facilities and excellent service! The hotel is very close to the 9th People's Hospital and there's a subway station nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. Plus, there are lots of great local eateries around the hotel. The environment is really good too.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. We really liked the Xujiahui location which is so close to Wu Kang and An Fu road. Subway transfers were also very easy, lots of greenery as the hotel is located next to Xujiahui park. We stayed in their largest family suite at 45 sqm but their regular rooms at 30 sqm would have been more than adequate. If I had to fault the room, it would be the choice of sleeping pillows which did not suit me. The hotel breakfast selection was really top quality, the coffee machine churned out very decent quality Italian coffee. I was planning to go check out michelin rated 小陶面馆 but the hotel noodles were one of the best I have tried for Shanghai style tossed noodles. 有人说酒店附近打车不容易，但是如果叫滴滴的话一定是没问题，因为酒店有自己的停车场可以上下车。

The hotel's location is ideal, making it very convenient to get to Wukang Road and Anfu Road. Dining and subway access nearby are also excellent. Plus, the laundry room has plenty of machines. The most pleasant surprise was the front desk proactively upgrading our room. The space was much larger than expected. The room was clean, and the bedding was fresh and comfortable, leading to a very sound night's sleep. While breakfast wasn't extensive, it had all the essentials, and refills were prompt. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, which is why we stayed another night after our Disney trip before heading home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

The front desk service from Ms. Huang was incredibly patient and friendly. She thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities, services, and the surrounding area, which left a great first impression. This is a more established hotel, and Shanghai dialect is commonly spoken, making communication easy. During my stay, it was film festival season, and many reporters and guests were staying here. The lobby and elevator halls were quite crowded daily. Dining in the first-floor restaurant felt like being an entertainment reporter, constantly witnessing photo ops and gossip. The room was on the smaller side, and the decor and public facilities certainly felt a bit dated, but it was clean and housekeeping was prompt. There was a good selection of pillows. The gym and pool on the 3rd floor, while compact, were well-equipped with everything you need: a power rack, dumbbells, a barbell, yoga mats, foam rollers, treadmills, ellipticals, and a rowing machine – more than sufficient. The restaurant food was just average with limited choices. Breakfast was served until 11 AM on weekends. With afternoon tea, happy hour, and executive lounge benefits, you can essentially cover three meals, offering excellent value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable, though the air conditioning was a bit temperamental, going from hot to cold. Overall, the comfort level was acceptable. The first room I stayed in had a noticeable electrical humming noise, and the night light wouldn't turn off. If I were really tired, I could have managed, but I ended up requesting a room change. On the other hand, breakfast and the convenience of the surrounding area were both really good.

I love this hotel. The people who work there are so lovely towards me. I’ve pretty much been staying here for over a month now, every time I’m back in Shanghai. Being at the hotel has also been an incredible opportunity for me in terms of improving my mandarin. The location is also very convenient in terms of access to food, convenience, and attractions in Shanghai. I’m about to head back here for another stay, so I couldn’t recommend it more (:

I booked this hotel early through Ctrip for a family trip. Since we needed to fly back to Shenzhen from Hongqiao Airport on the 26th and also wanted to visit Shanghai Jiao Tong University, I chose the Jinglai Hotel. It's super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like the Xujiahui Cathedral, Xujiahui Library, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided us with kids' slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also offers laundry and drying facilities, which really helped us catch up on our accumulated laundry. Plus, they have a great variety of breakfast options. Overall, our stay was cozy, the location was convenient, and the beds were comfortable.

My first stay here was absolutely delightful ❤️. The common areas and recreational facilities are well-maintained. Housekeeper Lily was incredibly patient and attentive, responding to all my requests instantly. The complimentary late-night snacks and herbal tea were a lovely touch. The hotel's lush greenery makes the air feel so fresh and pleasant, and the orchid arrangements in the lobby are stunning. The cleanliness standards are exceptionally high; the bathroom was spotless and dry, making for a truly relaxing and reassuring stay.
