I was here for my child's training camp. The front desk ladies were beautiful, warm, and incredibly kind and caring towards my child. The manager was also very thoughtful, upgrading us to a more suitable room. The hotel is in a central Xuhui location, making travel extremely convenient. Just around the corner, you're in the heart of the bustling city. The breakfast had a wonderful local feel, with a great mix of Chinese and Western options. The room had smart AI features, making it fully functional. Plus, there's a reading corner, gym, and laundry room... Highly recommend this place, especially in such a prime location!

This stay far exceeded my expectations, a definite five-star review! Check-in at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Due to a flight delay, I requested a late check-out, and the hotel was very understanding. The room was spotless, the bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation with no unpleasant odors, and the mattress and pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm. The soundproofing was great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. The facilities were comprehensive, with stable hot water and quality toiletries. The location is super convenient for getting around, making it perfect for both tourism and short stays. I've already recommended it to my friends who are traveling, and I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

I booked this hotel early through Ctrip for a family trip. Since we needed to fly back to Shenzhen from Hongqiao Airport on the 26th and also wanted to visit Shanghai Jiao Tong University, I chose the Jinglai Hotel. It's super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like the Xujiahui Cathedral, Xujiahui Library, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided us with kids' slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also offers laundry and drying facilities, which really helped us catch up on our accumulated laundry. Plus, they have a great variety of breakfast options. Overall, our stay was cozy, the location was convenient, and the beds were comfortable.

The bedding was comfortable and clean. We received a free room upgrade, and we could see Xujiahui Cathedral from our window. The shower had strong water pressure, and the air conditioning got nice and cool. The hotel is located in the heart of Xujiahui, making transportation and dining very convenient. Xujiahui Cathedral, Xuhui Bookstore, and the Jiaotong University campus are all just a stone's throw away.

The hotel's location is ideal, making it very convenient to get to Wukang Road and Anfu Road. Dining and subway access nearby are also excellent. Plus, the laundry room has plenty of machines. The most pleasant surprise was the front desk proactively upgrading our room. The space was much larger than expected. The room was clean, and the bedding was fresh and comfortable, leading to a very sound night's sleep. While breakfast wasn't extensive, it had all the essentials, and refills were prompt. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, which is why we stayed another night after our Disney trip before heading home. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Stayed in a family room, and it felt very clean, which it truly was. I loved the tea set and the sofa area. The bath towels were individually wrapped, which even made me, someone who never uses hotel towels, break my rule and use them here. The front desk staff were very welcoming and enthusiastically introduced their products when I asked about them (the mattress and pillows were so comfortable!). The location is super convenient, just a 3-4 minute walk to the Stadium MRT station. There are also plenty of places to eat and explore nearby... A 15-minute walk takes you to the National Stadium, where there are many shopping malls. The laundry room is convenient and clean, with 4 washers and 4 dryers. The TV in the room even shows how many washers and dryers are available for use. The gym is nice and clean, with 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, a stationary bike, and a set of weights (and a large TV). There was no noise at night, so I slept soundly. I would definitely come back to stay here again if I have the chance.

The front desk service was warm, thoughtful, and meticulous. The environment was beautiful and comfortable. The late-night snack of wontons was good, and the breakfast was also nice with hot options. You could also refill hot milk and iced coffee anytime. The washer and dryer were very convenient, and the transportation was excellent with a bus stop right outside.

Checked in around 4 PM, but the room wasn't ready. Had to wait for over ten minutes in the lobby. Eventually, a Trip.com agent intervened and we were temporarily assigned to an empty room to wait, with a strict instruction not to lie on the bed. More waiting ensued… The room's air conditioning automatically shut off at 25 degrees, causing me to repeatedly wake up hot throughout the night. While it's understandable for a new hotel to have some service shortcomings, their problem-solving definitely needs improvement.

Pros: The hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Great amenities and good service overall, making it a nice choice for families. There is also a small mall right beside the hotel, which is convenient for quick shopping or meals. Cons: The location is quiet with not much spotlight or things to do nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Metro—fine for younger travelers, but not recommended for senior citizens or young children (it's better to call a DiDi instead). Additionally, daily room cleaning details could be improved (like tidying up used cups), there is no self-service dobi (laundry is chargeable), and no free late-night supper/porridge is provided.

I spent five days in Shanghai after the May Day holiday, and I'm so happy I went during the off-season – I got to do everything I wanted! The hotel's location is excellent, the price was moderate, and the service was good. Having a laundry room was super convenient, and the hygiene was also well-maintained. Plus, I even got a 200 RMB discount thanks to a Xuhui District consumer voucher. All in all, it was a very satisfying trip!
