The Holiday Inn Shanghai Dishui Lake is perfectly situated on the west side of Dishui Lake in Lingang. From the east-facing rooms, you can enjoy park views and see the twin China Bank towers. There's a bit of road noise from traffic on the street. The underground parking facilities are a bit dated, but the service is excellent and breakfast is good. It wasn't too crowded on Tuesday and Wednesday during the week. We received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe twin room, and the welcome fruit and drink vouchers were a nice touch. Overall, it was a very good stay.

I booked a premium double room, and Yuki at the front desk upgraded me to a twin room with an airport view. It was my birthday on the day I checked out, and in the evening, they even had the kitchen make an extra cake and send it to my room. It was huge, and the fruit on top was very fresh and sweet. There was a bit of a queue when checking in, so it seems business is very good. The hotel is very close to the terminal, especially T1.

Facilities: Fully equipped, including both a washing machine and a dryer. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean and comfortable, ensuring a worry-free stay. Environment: Elegant and cozy surroundings with convenient transportation. Highly recommend, as there are supermarkets, commercial centers, and plazas nearby. Service: Excellent service attitude, warm and meticulous! The Gubei Golden Bridge Apita supermarket and mall, with its Japanese cuisine and anime theme, offers incredibly warm, thoughtful, and polite service. There are tons of coffee shops, and the hotel breakfast is varied and plentiful. Many expats and Japanese guests stay here. It's my preferred choice for business trips due to its proximity to my company. The housekeeping staff are warm and friendly, and the front desk staff are professional and have an excellent service attitude. Our Japanese clients all love this hotel. The front desk staff seamlessly switch between Japanese and English. A big thank you to MAX and Mr. Richard for their enthusiastic help. See you next time!

I had an early morning flight today and didn't have time for breakfast. Xiao Wang at the front desk told me I could take a packed meal to go. It's the small details like this that create such pleasant surprises and warmth. Many thanks to the lovely Xiao Wang at the front desk! So thoughtful! Thank you!

Decided on the day to book a one night staycation in the city for Mid-Autumn festival, chose this hotel as stated outdoor pool still open and had good play-areas for kids. It didn’t disappoint. We will be returning! Check in quick and spoke English. Everyone seemed to be going more to Disney. Booked a Courtroom deluxe double room. A strange smell when arrived (but have noticed that with other hotels recently) good size. Very large tv. Indoor play opens 8:00 till 23:00 on the sign but we were told 21:00. Area very clean, quiet. 2 year old loved it, so independent, easy to watch him. Outdoor play area more for older kids but nice before eating dinner outside. Opened at 8:00-18:00. Have a puppy play area nearby. Pool open till 30/9, was shallow but cold this time of the year, even thought day was 32 degrees. At night it changed colours, was a wow moment for our toddler, we just sat dipping our feet in, open till 21:00 and think opens 9:00-10:00 Food prices very reasonable, quality ok, few smaller out of hotel eating places opposite and a convenient store. Hotel next door had lovely fish pond could visit and the big hotel first in the compound had a larger play area with a charge. Breakfast was included. A wide range of choices. Decent meal to start the day. - Didn’t have pool towels, everyone using room towels so would be nice to have two sets. - Only thing would have liked is a washing line or hooks in the bathroom or outside to hang wet towels and clothes.

Traveling solo to clear my head, I unexpectedly found a lot of warmth during this stay. A big thank you to Betty, who truly made me feel right at home. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, even asking if I drove when I checked in and helping me register my license plate, which saved me a lot of hassle. She also paid attention to my feelings, asking if I was satisfied with the room and proactively inquiring if I had any needs regarding my stay, helping me wherever she could. These small details were genuinely heartwarming. Even though this hotel has been open for a few years, the room facilities are well-maintained, the view is great, and I also got to experience the unique swimming pool. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. I was thoroughly satisfied in every aspect. Next time I'm in Shanghai, I will definitely come back to stay here!

The front desk staff Ms Aimee 吴 were warm and courteous, handling check-in efficiently and promptly. They also kindly offered helpful suggestions on nearby transportation and dining options, making me feel welcomed right away. The room was clean, tidy, and meticulously maintained. The bedding was soft and comfortable, instantly relieving all fatigue as soon as I settled in. The room had excellent natural light and superb soundproofing—peaceful and quiet throughout the night, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The bathroom was fully equipped with ample hot water and high-quality toiletries, reflecting attention to even the smallest details. The hotel’s overall ambiance is elegant and serene, with well-maintained public areas. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, delicious dishes. Staff members were always attentive, responding promptly and genuinely to any needs, never giving the impression of perfunctory service. Whether for leisure travel or business trips, this hotel is an ideal choice. It stands out not only for its excellent facilities but especially for its thoughtful, human-centered care. After a long journey, experiencing such a soothing and comforting stay was deeply refreshing. On my next visit to this city, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again—and wholeheartedly recommend it to friends.

They were able to get me checked in with a picture of my passport and another ID after I lost my passport the day I was supposed to fly home. Also clean, in an international mall, reasonable walking distance to the line 9 metro (not SUPER close but definitely doable.) The room had both a bathtub and a shower.
