A few things have improved but the rooms we stayed this time had no airco and for Portugal room without airco in the summer I can tell you it’s terrible to sleep. The breakfast is good, the service is good everybody is really friendly and helpful but the hotel really needs an urgent renovation. Attached picture is what you look at at breakfast could for sure use an urgent tlc"

This kind of hotel that is not old and does not smell is very recommended in Portugal, especially in the city of Setubal. Parking is a problem, especially at night, cars over 4.5 meters long can't enter the hotel basement without damage."

"With low-cost public parking next to the church 100 metres away, the apartment is easy to locate, even if the stairs up to the second floor are rather steep. The apartment itself has been refurbished to a high standard, with a good bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen & lots of delightful 'character' touches. Turn left out of the front door & you'll find a wine bar / cafe 20 metres away. It's very popular with ex-pats & visitors because they offer an all-you-can-eat cheese & meat buffet with table wine for €10 per head. Sociable, friendly & recommended."
