"Very disappointed with this stay. The house was not clean or well maintained. The toilet seat, shower head, and shower head holder were found broken, and the kitchen utensils were dirty. The TV couldn't be used because of Wi-Fi issues. I was only asked to pay the security deposit on the day of check-in, which should have been communicated in advance. The deposit refund was also delayed, and I had to keep follow up as it was not returned within the promised timeframe. Overall, a disappointing experience due to the poor maintenance, cleanliness, and unprofessional handling of the deposit."

"There were no Chinese-speaking staff at the hotel, and most of the guests seemed to be from South Asia. The first room I was given was infested with ants – on the bed, in my luggage, everywhere. Since I had my laptop with me, many ants crawled inside it. I called the front desk twice, but after waiting over an hour, no one came up. Frustrated, I went down to the front desk to request a room change. After another long wait, I was moved to a ground-floor connecting room with two doors. Since I was traveling with a female friend, and for safety reasons, I asked to switch again. The staff member rolled their eyes and had a very unpleasant expression. After I insisted strongly, they finally moved us to a corner room, which unfortunately had a gecko."

"We prepaid for the apartment but were still required to pay a deposit in Malaysian currency to the landlord’s bank account. We incurred bank charges as a result of paying the deposit. This requirement for a deposit was never made known by Trip.com and is the first time we encountered such a requirement. We would not have booked if we had known this. Also, we found 3 cockroaches in the apartment, one dead and another that was running around in the kitchen drawers. The fridge was filthy. Obviously it had never been cleaned. The toilet roll holder was spoilt and there was nowhere to hang toilet paper. We will definitely not book this place again!"
