"There's plenty of space in front of the hotel, and parking is free. There's a convenient 24-hour convenience store across the street. A bay across the water is within walking distance with beautiful sea views. When we stayed, the hotel was under renovation, so we couldn't use their kitchen. It would have been much better if the hotel had one. I highly recommend this hotel; the bed was very comfortable and the heating was excellent. It's just a bit of a shame that there was still a slight smell of renovation in the room when we checked in, but it wasn't a big problem. I still highly recommend it."

Tranøya

"We had a lovely stay at the old vicarage on Tranøya. Wenche is a very welcoming hostess and from first pick-up by boat from Senja to the drop-off back to the pier, she could not be more helpful. We were fascinated to learn about life on Tranøya and its history. We loved the peace on the island and enjoyed exploring it, including the church and little museum, as well as swimming from the pier. Wenche's home cooking was delicious, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. A fantastic place for a deeply relaxing break. Highly recommended."
