"Stayed one night. Initially given room 214 which was pleasant but a bit of noise later from the kitchens. Reception Staff were fabulous and moved us to a quieter room (204) which was superb with a fabulous view of the fjord. Spa and swimming pool was very good. Tried to get a simple dinner but lunch menu not available in the evening and no flexibility offered - found a fabulous cafe down the road (Ferryman) which did the trick. Breakfast was very good. All in all, very good stay."

"Great welcome into a lush rural guest house, run by a superb host. What a pleasure to sleep on the excellent mattresses in the well-appointed cottage, painted in cool oranges. The cottage has a superb shower plus neat kitchenette No meals but beer is for sale and you can eat a substantial breakfast in a huge, rustic room. So good that you'll probably want to return. Highly recommended!"

"We were very friendly and had a beautiful room with a great view. But as the wind came to this home, the room was cold despite full-screen heating. It pulled through the window, which you could see well at the gardens. Otherwise everything was perfect."

"We just returned from a four night stay at this hotel, where we rented a penthouse suite, located on the top floor.The design of this apartment was excellent; floor-ceiling windows, which could be partially opened to allow the sea breeze to cool the rooms (much appreciated during the present heatwave). A modern bathroom with two washbasins, sauna, wellness bath and the most efficiently designed shower unit I have ever encountered. Living room with mini kitchen faced the sea and we watched the sunrise over the Danish coast. We self-catered, but enjoyed a couple of visits to the Strand Cafe for coffee and cake."
