"Service: Extremely attentive. Perhaps because there weren't many Asians or because my name is unusual in English, the staff greeted me by name the next morning at breakfast. Facilities: Basically adequate, quite acceptable for a 200-year-old building undergoing renovation, though not comparable to modern 5-star facilities. Environment: It felt like living in a palace, with gardens to explore freely and magnificent public areas. While you'd normally visit a palace and only have to follow a route, here you could explore and go anywhere."

"A family resort full of kids, probably suitable for their needs, not ours, unfortunately. Not really the best experience for a couple trying to enjoy their stay. Both inside and outside pool full of children, ended up not swimming at all. There was only a buffet dinner available at the restaurant or some small snacks at the bar. We paid 15eur each for a ”caesar” salad, with the ingredients: lettuce, bread crutons, some burned bacon, chicken resembling a prebaked chicken from Lidl unfrosted from the freezer, and caesar sauce. Breakfast had some more choices, and gladly some fresh fruits, but no fresh juices like in all other hotels during our stay in Portugal, only the cheapest orange juice you can probably get. Even though the staff was very nice, the resort is quite run down looking and rooms very basic. Probably an ok stay for a family with smaller kids, couples try somewhere else."

"Although I received the news that the Sintra scenic spot was closed due to weather relations the day before, the hotel was booked, and it was still set off from Lisbon according to the original plan. Because the original order to Sintra to go directly to the first Pena Palace, but the night before the announcement was closed before the afternoon, I had to walk to the hotel first. (The hotel is in the downtown area of Sintra, about 1k from the train station, but the scenery along the road is good, walking is very ok) I want to say that I will at least put a luggage first. But I didn't expect to check in around 12pm, and the hotel let me enter the room early! It's great not to take shelter from the rain for2-3 hours outside now! ! So I have been brushing the news comfortably in the room, and finally opened the scenic spot in the afternoon. When the rain stopped, I rushed to the Pena Palace! The next day the weather finally cleared, and it was easy to walk directly to the Regalera Palace. And the name of the room I lived in was the same as my English name, and it was too honorable! Worthy of being a five-star hotel! The hotel was built in 1764 and is very historical, but it is well maintained everywhere, will not have a sense of oldness, and it is very comfortable to live in. Breakfast can be picked up except bread, toast, pastries, juice, milk, water, etc., the rest are made now, a lot of excitement, the waiter still maintains a very friendly attitude, help me to have a whole table of meals, although I eat very full, But I still have the responsibility to eat all the meals, the taste is also very good! What surprised me even more was that the jam with bread turned out to be directly for the mini jar, and it was self-pick, really big. The point is that the special price is super close to the people, and there is no need to carry blood with the poaching. It's just that the weather in the Portuguese mountains in winter is really not good, and you need to be mentally prepared. But if it is really miserable to go to the scenic spot, I can't go there at all. I think it's worth it to stay here for one night. Really recommend 🥰🥰"

"1) The front desk guy during the evening (or maybe night) shift has very little service mind. Had to wait almost 10 mins for the guest in front of me to check in (too much chitchatting). And another 10 mins for me to check in. When I asked for the glass of ice, he said that I cannot take the glass from the bar back to room because of the (weird) policy. 2) Hotel has no AC during our visit (27-29 May). The weather was very hot (35C during the day and 25C at night), yet hotel still not activate the AC. I was told to buy the fan from Auchan to use in the room instead but it’s closed already and cannot borrow from the hotel. So the 1st night I had to sleep without the fan. The next day I bought the fan and it helpd me to get a good sleep. 3) No amentity in the room. Only towels and shower gel. 4) However, the manager during the morning shift is very good service mind!! The good thing is that the location is near Auchan, Decathlon and Komatsu (buffet japanese restaurant). They are all in 5 mins walk from the hotel."
