"I had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities needed. The location of the hotel was very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the surrounding area. The breakfast was good value but variety/choice of different menu on each day could be improved, but nothing that significantly impacted my stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and I would consider returning in the future."

"We had a great stay at this hotel! The room came with a double bed and a bunk bed, which was perfect for families or friends traveling together. The space was well-organized and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, keeping the room cool even on hot days. Everything was clean and tidy, and the overall value was excellent. Just a heads-up: city tax needs to be paid in cash upon check-in, so be sure to have some cash ready. Overall, a very pleasant stay — highly recommended!"

"Not my first time in Faro but chose this hotel for the rooms with balcony marina view. The hotel has a rich history and has been around since 1960s and its undergoing refurbishments in some areas. The old rooms look dated and could do with better cleaning as previous occupant’s hair was found in the bathroom. We loved the design & aesthetic looks of the new refurbished areas such as the spa, bathrooms, gym, pool & sauna but shame that there was a water leak in the indoor pool ceiling and rusty bits on the stainless steel railings. Considering it’s completed in Aug 2025, the hotel may need to do more due diligence to ensure the safety of guests. As a non Portuguese speaker, I felt that the check-in staff can make more efforts in being warm and welcoming. I noticed that this hotel is one of the few hotels ive been that check-in staffs are seated instead of standing, making the process somehow casual & less welcoming. I also called in to make a request for a late check out and received a hostile response by a lady who said ‘No. We need the room back’. We just got married the day before arriving & we are here to also celebrate my honeymoon & partner’s birthday. Weeks prior to arriving, I put in a request if the hotel could do a birthday special for him but this was not acknowledged. As an avid traveller who has stayed in many hotels around the world, I am a little dissapointed with the lack of personalised attentive service provided by the hotel. If the view & location isn’t a concern, I recommend the nearby 3HB hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. AP Eva senses have a great deal of potential, but they may be complacent at going beyond, as they are currently the only hotel at Faro marina. Additional employees like the elder gentleman pianist & hotel hairdresser were the warmest I’ve come across."

"Camino opened the door to staying in the Youth Hostel when traveling alone in Europe the year before, so this time I chose to overstay here when I stayed in Faro for one night. The girl living in a separate room (it was full of 6 people, and later found that the mixed side was very empty) More satisfied is that the private bathroom in the public area has a single room, you can enjoy it when you touch it inside, and the bed has curtains; dissatisfied is that it is assigned to the upper bunk, which is always not convenient."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations, perfectly embodying the phrase ”feel at home”! The hotel boasts an excellent location and convenient transportation. The staff were warm and attentive, providing meticulous service from the front desk to the restaurant and room cleaning. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the facilities were new."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed by its central location – wherever you’re heading in Faro, it’s generally no more than a six-minute walk. It’s ideal for exploring the city on foot. The standout feature for me was the rooftop restaurant and bar. The views over the sea are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset – a perfect spot to unwind with a drink. Breakfast was another highlight: a fantastic spread with a huge variety of options, well presented and regularly replenished. Rooms are modern, spacious, and well designed, offering a comfortable stay. The gym looked well equipped, though I didn’t use it during my visit. Service was fine – polite and efficient, but very much in line with what I’ve come to expect in Portugal: functional, with no one particularly going out of their way. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, modern hotel with a great location, excellent breakfast, and memorable views."

"Pousada Palácio de Estoi is a beautiful hotel, elegant in every corner, very quiet, and with ample parking. I stayed for two nights, and while the first night was wonderful, the second evening at dinner was disappointing. The restaurant service felt rather cold, and there was a mix up where someone had made a 7 p.m reservation under our names without informing us. Things worsened when my fish soup contained a small piece of plastic, which I showed to the restaurant manager, unfortunately, that ended my meal. Not to mention the delay in food, 75 minutes sitting in the restaurant, I have only had the plastic containing soup. Despite this, the hotel itself is charming and well located, with some aspects of service done right. With some attention to communication and restaurant service, it could easily be a five star experience. Not quite there yet in my humble opinion."

"Very close to ALSA station, very convenient for people who want to move between cities At the beginning, you have to check-in online before you can get the gate password. Because the landlord did not notice the order of trip.com, we stuck at the door of the accommodation, but we found the landlord. She immediately helped us deal with it. It’s great. If you book this room but have not received a letter, you can and the room. Contact East, the landlord is very good, you can contact her with What's app There are a lot of facilities in the house, there are many small sofas to sit on, there is a kitchen to cook (and there is salt and oil, super intimate), shared bathroom, there is a small courtyard outside, some lounge chairs, even if you don’t go out, it’s suitable for rest at home."

"A beautiful hotel with a Middle Eastern luxury resort-style garden. 20 minutes walk from the center of Faro. However, it is convenient because the mall is nearby. The cost performance is high, but there is no hair dryer."

"I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is just a 4-5 minute walk from the bus stop. It's also within walking distance of Faro's old town, the beach, and the churches. We booked a hotel apartment. The living room was large with a sofa, and the open kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher. We bought plenty of groceries at a nearby market and cooked ourselves a delicious dinner. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a quiet night. The central air conditioning was especially nice in winter. If I ever come back to Faro, I will definitely stay at this hotel again."
